My son and I did the petting zoo. He really liked it. They let you walk with the animals. There were goats, chicken, and turkeys that you could walk with. They had bunnies in cages, cows, and sheep that had there own pens. It was over priced, $8 per person for the petting zoo. Everything cost between $8 to $11 per activity per person. So for a petting zoo its ok but for all day thing it will get really pricey really quickly. (Not sure if petting zoo is year around or just open for their fall fest.)

Great place and friendly employees. They have a ton of pumpkins to pick from and a ton of different colors and shapes of gourds. We got exactly what we needed and the prices weren't bad

Very disappointed. The prices are insane. I paid $8 a person for a petting zoo that wasn’t a petting zoo. Maybe 2 goats? Every other animal was in their cage. Roosters fighting and turkeys running free scaring kids. Don’t buy the food to feed the animals are not hungry. The hayride is dirty and hasn't been updated in years you can tell. That was $11 a person. The haunted house was like two old shipping containers stuck together. That was $11 a person. The staff seemed like they hated their jobs. All of the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch were huge hard to carry especially with kids. None less than like $25. You are better off going to the fall festivals at farms that have a $35 per person entrance fee. At least you get to access all attractions and it is cleaner and a lot more to do. Waste of money and time.

We arrived there at 530 and ready to check out at 605. But all registers closed. Some guy in a pick up truck pulls up and says sorry we close at 6, cannot buy pumpkins... Said they strictly close at 6. We had a wagon full of pumpkins and he was like sorry cannot help you. We left the full cart there... Must be nice to be that well off!

I have been coming to Casola Farms on Rt 34 in Holmdel for years now for Mums, pumpkins and more. The service has always been nice. This year I had a horrible experience dealing with a very rude person who was telling me to "hit the gym" because I though the corn stalks were heavy. I did not react at first, but when I asked him to weigh the pumpkins for me, he said "you don't like lifting anything yourself "- I joked around and said "that's why I have you". He did not think my comment was funny and responded with a rude statement about me. Clearly his comment to me was showing that he was not interested in helping me at all whatsoever. From the moment I asked him about the price of the corn stalks it was clear that he was annoyed by me. He was also annoyed by the fact that I did not own another car like a pick up truck or a car with a rack on it. Something was definitely off with him. He kept telling me that the corn stalks would go inside the car, and that I needed to come back with a pick up truck, which I did not have. What exactly trigged his rudeness I do not know, it could be my accent, it could be the fact that I wanted his help.. and he was not in the mood of helping... I don't know. When I told him to forget about the pumpkins and was on my way out I told him that his comments were rude, he did not seem to care, he kept yelling at me the that in fact I was rude, and as I was walking further and further away to my car I could hear him going on about me, and how rude I was... Mind it, there were people around him. I am sure that I am better off spending my money at another farm from now on. Very very disappointed. I wish I knew his name.

It was a classic day at A. Canola Farms with pumpkins and apple cider. We had some good old fashioned 7 layer bars for dessert.

It used to be so good... prices are incredibly expensive..pies are like 20 and up now. Small little order of funnel cake 10. Petting zoo is not worth it most animals were behind cages.

Insane prices for very little. Go to literally anywhere else. Our jaws dropped with the prices. $55 for 3 tickets to petting zoo with no attendants, just a greasy guy laying down. No refunds and rude folks. Worst farm we've ever experienced especially for fall time activities. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Rip off. Nothing to do and they charge a lot for each thing. Don't buy feed- animals heavily sedated and don't want to eat. Hay ride was creepy not for small kids..

If I could give this place 0 stars I'd give it -5. This place was absolutely horrible. The prices are outrageous and they charge per person over the age of 1 and every activity has a price ranging from $8 to $11. I went with a family of 5 and tried the sunflower maze. That came out to $45 just for that activity. It's so disappointing. The maze is drive and a far walk and there's a sign that says it's great for pictures but the majority of the flowers were dead but they had a bunch of nice flowers in a secluded area and they charge $2 per flower. We walked past the actors for the haunted maze, there were only 3 of them and they weren't even in the maze. They should have a sign recommending not to bring a stroller because ours kept getting stuck in the sand. We purchased a lantern for my son that we found out didn't work when we got home. We also bought an apple pie for $20 and it was very disappointing. The whole experience was pitiful. I would never go here again and remember Absolutely No Refunds!

So disappointing! They have the nerve to charge everyone $8 admission for the petting zoo, and there were no animals to pet!!! And another $8 per person to ride the hayride, where my 1 year old grandson just sat on my lap and really nothing much to see, no music playing, no one to help you get on or off the tractor & then takes you around the back and all you see is garbage. Don't waste your time or money, find another place.
