Felt like the branded clothes are not original. Had to buy a pair of track pants because of certain unavoidable circumstances. Not keen to visit again.

Only giving it an extra star because Cheap Maggies honestly has great products but if they didn’t I would give only one star for the service. I’ve been here quite a few times before this so maybe take my review with a grain of salt if this sales worker is only part time but I left this store today in shock with the service from just this one sales representative. I do regret not asking for her name but it’s fine. I walked in and I briefly looked at the discounted signs outside before walking in and had thought the sign said “50% off prices”. (Also in my defense the “% off” number was a lot larger than the text next to it). So it caught my attention and I walked in and started shopping and had my eyes on a pair of shoes (btw if you want to find some discounted anthropologie shoes come here!!). I gained some courage to ask the sales reps behind the counter what the 50% off was for & this young women with glasses on who was sitting and on her phone (describing her bc I don’t have a name) responded saying “what sign” and I said “oh the sign on the window outside” and she said “no if you had read it you would know that it says 80% off” and I feel kind of stupid now that I’m realizing I didn’t pick up on her attitude because in my mind i was like 80% off is better than 50% ? so I responded back saying “omg 80%?!?!? wow that’s even better” and she responded saying “no…again if you read the sign it says 80% off comforters” (technically she’s right if I had read it correctly I would have know but what’s the harm in asking someone who works there if you’re unsure and why the need for the attitude?) and after that I turned around trying to read from the inside what the window signs say outside and the window sticker with the comforter sign was blocked off from the inside however I was able to read the "80% markdown prices" sign from the inside so I just honestly didn't know how to respond from here because I'm just confused as to why we there's an attitude right now. So i turn my head back to respond after reading from the inside and said "oh i only see the sign that says 80% off” and she stands up and says "do you need me to show you!?" and i said "sure, but is there a reason you have an attitude with me?" and she didn't respond. I ended up following her outside and she just pointed at both signs and read slowly like I was 5 years old "comforters 80% off price" and I was like okay yeah i see it now but is there a reason you have an attitude towards me? and she said no. I ended up leaving saying “well then hope you have a good day” which was half sarcastic half not because I couldn't seem to comprehend how someone could've gotten so angry and things randomly escalate so quickly unless maybe she was just having a bad day already? idk…im confused and sad because i really wanted those anthropologie shoes but just couldnt get myself to walk back in after that :/ (also after reading this it doesn’t sound so bad if she didn’t have an attitude but she did which is the point of this review)

If I could I would give them 0 stars, I called to check them out and they were so rude on the phone, definitely won’t be going to the place.

Love Cheap Maggie's!! A great selection of different items from clothing all the way to home-goods!! Name Brands from Kate Spade, MK, American Eagle/Aerie and so much more!! There's going to be something for everyone!! Friendly staff!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! Extremely rude staff and extremely un accommodating with exchanges....I basically got laughed at trying to use my credit from still pandemic times.

Cheap Maggies is really good if you're looking for items new with tags at 50%+ discount off the retail price. They carry maje, sandro, anthropologie, free people, adidas, champion, etc. all new with tags. They even carry some UGGs! Really interesting selection, I'm so curious how they get their inventory. I wouldn't necessarily think of this as a thrift store like a goodwill or salvation army, since the items are almost all new at a higher price so you can't really get used/worn bargains. Their racks outside are more heavily discounted, but some of them have defects so double check everything! I appreciate that the store writes out what the defects are on the tag if they are aware of the defects - I appreciate how transparent they are. Worth a visit! I just personally didn't end up purchasing anything.

Awesome thrift store! Really good brands and selection, even for dudes which is rare. Prices are good even for the Hoboken/NYC area.
