Lovely yarn store with attentive employees who are happy to help! I didn't know what yarn to get for my sweater, so they showed me the options in my price range and pointed out what was on sale. They wound it into cakes for me, which helped me out a lot. I highly recommend this store!

Lovely shop, great selection. They will leave you alone to browse or if you have questions, they are glad to help. The yarn is the star of the show. This collection of natural fibers and colors from around the world easily stirs the imagination. It is definitely worth a trip to Hillsdale.

Small shop packed to the rafters with beautiful & unusual yarns. Friendly staff. Everyone I’m in NJ visiting family I make sure to stop by! Another review mentioned hearing about a mothball smell. I have never smelled anything unusual in the shop, just the normal smell of yarn!

It would be nice if this wasn't the third time I went there before they supposedly close and they were closed. What's the point of posting store hours if you're not going to adhere to them. You're the one losing business. I'd rather pay tolls and go to Manhattan to go to a yarn store that actually is open the hours they state.

I’m really upset to hear what they did with the McMorrow familiy blanket. They should’ve worked harder to find the original owner and should not have taken the money from the family if they weren’t going to complete the job and return it. Instead, they donated it somewhere. Suspicious to say the least.

It takes a lot for me to write something negative about a business. I realize how impactful a bad review can be for the owners therefore I don't write this frivolously. Unbeknownst to me, my 91 year old mother had undertaken knitting a blanket for me. She couldn't finish the last section due to her arthritic hands and brought it in January 2020 to Yarn Diva to be finished. Maria, who works there agreed to complete it. Before my mom passed in March she told me about the blanket and mentioned the store and left a check to pay for it. Later that spring I tried to get in touch with the store but it was closed due to the Covid crisis. I recently remembered about it and went to the store to pick it up. I was told that they only hold items for six months and had donated the blanket but didn't know to what organization. I was also told they left a message in March when it was completed but my mom was either in the hospital at that time or had died. No effort was made past that by Yarn Diva. I can't believe that they were so cavalier especially during this pandemic. This would have been a family keepsake for generations to come and I can't help but think how hard and how much work this was for my mother. Very upsetting doesn't come close to how I feel. This place is fantastic. Packed with fibers and specialty yarns. And sometimes they have grab bags that are a great value.

I haven’t gone yet. I heard good things about the yarn diva. I am wondering how bad the moth ball smell really is. And will I Have to wash the yard before I use it. I hate that smell. :)
