I rarely ever post negative reviews because, as someone in the food industry myself, I completely understand nights where service is not top-notch. But as a manager? I also need to know when customers don't feel safe – and I couldn't get out of here faster.
I popped by after a closing shift at around 11 PM, expecting no one else to be arounbd. Boy, was I wrong. The place was POPPING. The only parking spot I could find was in front of a group of (very inebriated) teenagers – one of many such groups in the lot – who wound up sitting on my car when I went inside. Not the staff's fault, obviously, but it felt like an obstacle course even navigating between them since many of them just...stood in the middle of the road, too.
As soon as I walked in, there was a customer yelling at the register. The poor cashier handled it professionally, but as someone who wound up using the self-checkout right behind them (yes, they took THAT long arguing, so much so that two managers got involved), it certainly didn't help my feeling of comfort therein. Having the self-checkouts cramped right next to the actual registers made me feel like I might get caught in the crossfire here, and I wasn't the only one tiptoeing around the conflict like they were walking a tightrope overtop of a minefield.
When I finally got my food, about ten minutes after ordering, my hoagie was smaller than I'd ever seen one (pls keep in mind that I order a shorti hoagie probably 4-5 times a week, so trust me when I say I know the length at a glance, and this was missing probably 1/3 of it) and my "frozen" drink was complete liquid even though I picked it up as soon as it was made. Not even a single ice cube in there, just juice. Realizing the staff was probably stressed, I stopped and personally thanked three different people who helped me and told them I hope that their nights get a lot smoother from here on out. Everyone looked me dead in the face and glared at me. One person scoffed, and another person looked me up and down and straight up SNEERED at me. I'm not expecting everyone to fall to their knees in gratitude for some common decency, but yeesh the last one just downright hurt, not to mention made me feel self-conscious.
Look, I try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but there was literally not one single part of my experience here that would ever make me want to come back. I sincerely hope the staff tonight could recoup and restrategize after what was likely a hectic shift so that y'all have a better weekend next time around, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that my weekend was made a whole lot worse in a whopping fifteen minutes within your walls.

I love Wawa,the only reason I gave it 1 star is because this Wawa is at the wrong place.The address of this Wawa is correct but it's incorrectly posted on the map. This Wawa is in glassboro and on the map it shows it in Clayton right down the street from my house. I hope Google can adjust it

I go to Wawa all the time in glassboro but the one girl named Lani who works there seems like she has a anonymous problem with me but I don't even know her in real life outside of her job every time she makes something for me on the line she throws my stuff on the side where I come get it from I just don't appreciate the disrespect of a person I don't know and her attitude needs to be fixed cause she chose to work at WAWA

9 times out of 10 the bread is stale. You want cheddar you get American you want oven turkey they give you ham…I’m gonna be sick all night from this sandwich because I can’t eat ham. I’m not really sure how this keeps happening but I’m going to a different wawa. What a disgrace! You need to inform your employees the importance of reading directions because they can actually hurt someone.

When I shop there I usually buy more stuff than I need. They must be doing something right, I keep going back 9/10 they have what I came for + more… You can even get pizza there lol.

Good hard working people here, 4 times as many responsibilities from just a year ago! Wawa was my first job moving here, and I loved it, these new workers are super friendly, and one of the few places in the greater metro area I feel safe to visit.

The order accuracy at this place is the worst I’ve ever seen. which is really pathetic considering not only is there a screen right in front of your face telling you how to make each order but you’re also given a slip with step by step instructions for each order printed right on it. The workers obviously can’t even read.. they can’t wrap a sandwich to save their lives either. Absolutely pathetic establishment.
