Visited on August 6 at 1130. Produce section was empty and dirty. At self checkout, employee to assist was rude. Not going back to this store.

I just have to give the biggest thanks to MARIA from the BAKERY for saving my mistake !!
We had 2 parties one day apart, and in all my planning and running around for the first party, I completely forgot to order the cake for the second one !! My daughter’s birthday!!!
I went in the day before, willing to accept ANY cheesy cake they’d let me get, I just really needed a picture of my daughters favorite show and I know they use the edible paper, so I was hoping it wouldn’t be too much trouble to just put it on.
Not only did Maria accept my order, she also let me customize the flavors and colors. ?
I’m so grateful that everything worked out and I hope Maria gets all the good things that she deserves !! ??

My experience at the bakery department was horrible. They have a supervisor who's always rude and always tries to rush you off. That's the one with the bright red lipstick. There's another middle-aged African American woman who works in that department and feels it hard to speak when a question is asked about their baking goods. My thing is if you don't like working with people, find another job where you don't have to deal with people. Don't come to a place of business, and every day, you are grumpy has hell. I love coming to this bakery, but people like that supervisor, and their helpers discourage me to do business there. My advice to this department is to shape up or ship out!

Not thrilled with the self checkout being policed to 20items max. During busy time I get it, but there was no one there at 12:45 this afternoon and I was made wait for a register, where there was only 4 opened but self checkout had 7 available.

Congested, parking is horrible, always out of things, and staff is not the best. Take the extra 5 minutes and go to the Shoprite in Clark instead. Update: checkout lines are long. Understaffed. The lot is still a mess.

Fruit, veg are good. Good standard tofu selection. Gluten free and vegan products could be a bit more expansive. Easy to navigate. Checks out area is easy and quick. Commercials on in store radio are a bit loud, could be turned down a bit, content is repetitive. Bit more lighting, maybe on shelves or veggie bins, feels dim in some spots, but overall easy to look around, find tags to compare. Carts aren't wonky in good shape and well stacked don't need to hunt for one.

They are consistently putting expired yogurts in our curbside pick up. They have not rectified this misleading practice of selling expired goods after we called and notified them. It’s happening nearly every week and the expiration dates are weeks past the current date. Terrible.

Nice newer large store. Great inventory and selections. This is one of the best ShopRites around. Seafood department is excellent. In store bakery, deli and service meat dept are well staffed and friendly.
