Went with a friend that needed her ring fixed. Employees very pleasant. Great service. Ring was fixed in about 1 hour and boy did it sparkle when she got it back!

Fantastic staff. Debbie went out of her way to help me. I stopped in to resize my engagement ring with no former knowledge of high quality jewelry. I appreciated her honesty, friendliness, and the time she spent with me. I walked out with exactly what I wanted and a sparkling ring, which made my day. I will definitely be returning.

They are rude and condescending. I live very close and have been there a number of times to buy jewelry but ended up leaving because of their nasty remarks which among other things questioned if I could afford their prices. I also went there to replace batteries in my diamond watch and had to listen to their snide remarks about my watch being an overpriced fashion watch. I recently bought a tanzanite ring that I want to add a diamond halo to and even though in would be easier to walk across the street to have it done I will not subject myself to their rudeness.

Went here to have my watch sized. Staff was nice. However, the man who actually does the sizing was very odd . What an infant! He complained about how horrible his life is for 10 mins only to tell me he can’t size my watch. He immediately recognized the watch brand because it’s a nice brand but then told me they’re tough to adjust. After a few moments of picking out different tools and slamming them back in tool box out of frustration he gave up. My watch broke his tools? Ridiculous.I went to Joseph Jacob Jeweler in Hamilton Mall and and the woman was kind, professional, and did the job in 10 mins.

I took a ring in that my Daughter in law brought me back from the Philippines. A couple of the stones had come out of the setting they were in. So I took it in to see what if any thing could be done. I was not even sure if the ring was real or not. I was told by them It was and worth about 1500 dollars. I was actually shocked. They even went as far as handing me an insurance brochure and suggested I insure it. We discussed the work to be done which included a sizing. 2 days later got a call they could not size and it was not real I asked if they could replace the stones he said yes so I left it at that. Another 2Days later got call they would not do it. Seriously expect me to believe after being in the business for so long they did not know. I have bought several pieces over the years. Never again.

I went there to have some bracelets fixed and had a very bad experience. They did not do what I had asked them to do. I would not recommend them.

I went to have a diamond replaced on my wedding band. I was skeptical but, the man who I worked with assured me. It turned out better then expected. Invisibly set princess cut stones. He did right by me. I'll be back, like Arnold.I was in fact back in less then 24hrs for a refund. They were pleasant.

My wife and I had issues finding my ring size in a style we liked. So we decided to wait and had place holder rings for our wedding. Today my wife saw the jewelers as we were passing by so we stopped in. They had my size and a large selection all the way up to 14. The woman who helped us already knew my ring size by looking at them (I was off) She was also the best person I have ever worked with at a jeweler. Sweet, kind, funny, and very patient with us. For us, it was the best experience. I will recommend anyone to this place.

I needed replacement batteries for several watches. The prices were on the high side but I decided to have one of mine replaced. As I watched it became clear that he was having some difficulty. He finally returned the watch, saying that he replaced the battery but the watch still wasn't working. I don't know whether he damaged it or not but he was clearly incompetent and clumsy with his hands. I would recommend not using this shop for repairs.

Very helpful staff and knowledgeable jewelers! I took a sentimental string of pearls in and they gave me professional and honest advice about putting one of the pearls into a ring. They ultimately helped me find the best solution and I love my ring. They also checked my wedding and engagement rings for me and found a huge crack-they showed me under the microscope-and ultimately saved me from losing my diamond! They have a forever customer here!

My fiancé had a terrible experience here when trying to get my engagement ring. I didnt want anything over the top or big. He had in mind what he knew I'd like. This woman kept pushing him to get another ring....saying that the other bigger sizes looked nicer. Trying to upsell of course. And he insisted on the one that he wanted for me. He said he wanted a blue sapphire and the woman lied saying they didnt have any and that he would have to wait until they come back from this show. She ended up pulling out a bag of them from the safe...my fiancé was like I thought you didnt have any? She said oh these are lab made though. So there's that. Despite what happened I decided to go back to this place to check out wedding bands. We walk in and a man greeted us and asked if we needed help. The same mean woman that gave my fiancé trouble was there. He came over and I was like I got my engagement ring here! He was like ooo let me see so I showed him. He was standing like 5 feet away from me and said "oh I see you have residue under there" He was asking me if I wash my hands and put lotion with it on. I was like huh??? Like how the hell can he see that from far away and on my finger?? Yea ok. He was like oh we can work with this. I was thinking aww how nice he's going to polish my ring for me but no. Hes like I see you have a diamond thats not in place. It's loose. We can fix that for you. He just took it and walked away! First off, dont just take my ring and walk away assuming I want it fixed right then and there. That was sooo rude. My fiancé and I were shocked and confused. He went to the back to give it to the jeweler and I swear there were more and more things wrong with the ring. I was like ok whats going on? How much is this going to cost? "Oh we will take care of it. It wont be much." Like give me a straight answer. After going back and forth, we decided to just have them look at it and try to fix it. The jeweler said its not possible they will have to ship it to California and call me when its ready. We ended up leaving and I just had an uneasy feeling. It was super sketchy. We ended up going back a few minutes later and they werent expecting us. They were caught off guard. My fiancé asked exactly what was happening. I just said I wanted my ring back we will take the business elsewhere. The man kept insisting that they will take care of it. Finally, he gave in. The woman grabs the bag with my ring in it from the safe THEN they say they lost my diamond and I was like WHAT how do you manage to do that?? "Diamonds bounce but we will find it." The man kept blaming me saying because it was loose like no. It wasnt loose at all, the jeweler messed with it trying to shift it THEN it had gotten loose and you LOST MY DIAMOND!! We stayed there while they tried to find it and we were just furious. How can you see residue under my ring from 5 feet away but cant find the diamond you lost in this 2 foot perimeter. Fishy Customers were starting to come in and I can tell they were nervous. JUST SO HAPPENS the exact diamond that fits that ring they had on hand. Mind you, this was a CUSTOM RING from CA...how did they have the exact size, shape and cut? I call BS. This place is the worst. If you're a jeweler you should be able to fix these simple problems. It was just such a frustrating day. Never going back there.

So happy with the work that was done on my ring!!!! He wasn't able to get the box that he needed and it should of cost more money but he stuck to the quote he gave me!!!! Outstanding business and I will definitely go back and recommend them to anybody.
