Highly recommended! We loved being apart of the London Day School community while our son attended their Preschool Prep program during the 2022-2023 school year. We were new to the area after our family moved to NJ from CA, and we'd spent months over the summer searching for a school for my youngest (who had yet to start any type of structured preschool program). We happily stumbled upon LDS, and were so happy that we did. Our kiddo thoroughly enjoyed his time there, and quickly attached to his teacher Ms Rosie. She was absolutely wonderful with him -- helping him through his worries at drop-off, helping him try different foods, and checking in with us regarding any and all concerns. We ended up needing to leave the school due to commute challenges. But our kiddo still talks about his time at London Day School, and we all miss it very much. We are so grateful that our child's first school year experience was at LDS.

The London Day school is a phenomenal school for young students that far exceeds our expectations, in every way. The educators and staff are top notch and care for the students as if they were their own family. If we could give it 10 stars we would!!!

I deeply respect the teachers and educators for their work. But without the structures and systems from leadership, a consistent teaching staff, consistent students, and open involvement from family, you cannot thrive as a school community. I hope for the sake of future kids that the school improves.

The London Day School's commitment to excellence, exceptional educators, and nurturing community make it an unparalleled choice for any parent. The dedication to both academic and personal growth sets it apart. The continuity of staff and warm atmosphere create an environment where children thrive. Choosing any other school simply wouldn't compare to the outstanding experience provided by The London Day School."

I've been in education management & leadership development for over a decade managing some very high, and very low, performing schools in NY and NJ. While my formal training is in middle school years, the basic principles around things such as (1) family engagement (2) class observation templates (3) teacher development (4) clear & consistent behavior support plans etc. share standard expectations. I deeply respect the teachers and educators for their work. But without most basic structures and systems mentioned above from leadership, there will continue to be gaps.Outside of the leadership structure, it was concerning was how frequently students changed. Student persistence was especially low in my sons class. The rate of change in teaching staff and the lack of communication around the changes is of concern. I would show up and ask who an adult in the room was and would be told "oh that's XYZ, they've been working with us for a week". But I had had zero communication about this adult being in the room. Or, because parents aren't allowed in the class, I would receive an email "effective tomorrow X teacher is no longer in Y class". Kids need consistency and reliability.

What a blessing this school has been! We witnessed a tremendous amount of growth with our child not just academically but also emotionally, socially, and physically. We are so confident that LDS has prepared her so well for kindergarten and beyond. The amount the staff cares for the kids and is able to tend to each individual child has been so comforting to watch. We truly feel the school has been like one big family and are so grateful we chose LDS for our child. It has and will continue to make a lasting imprint for her life.

LDS has been a wonderful educational experience for both of my children! They have grown so much behaviorally, socially and academically. They love to attend school each day and talk about LDS with such pride. The faculty at LDS truly feels like family and it is my children’s home away from home. Such a special place!

Our 3 kids attended London Day School (LDS) from the ages 2-6 and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! Not only is the school academically challenging with a lot of enrichment activities, but more importantly, the teachers and administrators provide a warm and loving environment. In addition, the school prioritizes values that are very important to our family, including respect and consideration for others. My kids are now attending (and exceling in) a private school in the area and they consistently receive compliments from their teachers about how polite and thoughtful they are. I believe LDS provided a great foundation for them! I highly recommend LDS to all my friends and colleagues looking for a pre-school in the area.

This is such a wonderful school! It keeps the children engaged and builds a strong foundation for future growth and learning. The curriculum is well rounded with science, art and so many other activities. The director, Danielle Lindner, is also a fantastic children's book author and instills a love of reading in all the students from an early age. If you are looking for a school for your little one...this is the place!!

As a child and family therapist and parent of a preschooler and toddler, London Day School (LDS) is top notch with it's curriculum based focus including STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), individualized attention for children and families, and a community focus. Innovative, interactive, and nurturing in the classrooms, and on the playgrounds, and gardens, with activities, crafts, and performances, and cultural celebrations. Danielle, the founder and director, is also a children's author that really makes the characters highlighting developmental, emotional and social challenges, come to life and there is a corresponding TV series as well. Danielle is so in tune with the needs and challenges of today's families and she and the staff at LDS have created a superb environment to support children's growth and development. Highly recommend LDS.

I have had the privilege of working at LDS for years. It truly is a home away from home for all families and children. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and cared for by all the loving teachers. The classrooms are so cheerful and clean. The curriculum put in place allows for children to explore science, art and multicultural languages.
