I worked with an extremely helpful and knowledgeable associate named Frank .I so wanted to buy the sneakers based on his recommendation but wanted a different color and went to the Millburn location as they have a bigger inventory but found the salesperson not so thorough as Frank therefore could not buy one. Have to check online.

Very disappointing. It's a store for running shoes yet if you call for a different type of sneakers they claim they have them which they don't. My husband is a competitive tennis player. So he wears sneakers made specifically for tennis. He called first and asked if they have tennis sneakers. He was told yes. When he got there they didn't carry them. I think they may have actually sold me running sneakers as well when I was looking for something else. They're a convenient location for me but I will not go back there.

I was recently at the store last week. I waited for 15 - 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge that I needed assistance. There was only me and another gentleman at the store. The customer in front of me, was talking to the sales rep and didn't even purchase a pair of sneakers before he left. There was no apology for the wait from the manager / sales rep. As soon as I was able to be helped, I had questions related to the measurements to make sure the shoes fit and I barely received any feedback from the sales rep. Very disappointed.

I stopped by this past Saturday shortly after opening. This was my first time going to a running store for shoes, I would usually just grab a pair from a store at the mall. After watching me walk and taking a look at my feet, the young woman who was working was able to bring out several pairs of shoes for me to try.
I wear a 10.5 in regular sneakers, so I always bought running shoes in the same size. I figured that they were supposed to feel tight. With the employee’s help, I realized I should be wearing an 11 wide in running shoes. I tried on several pairs until I finally picked one. I went for my first run in them today and have never felt so comfortable running before. Highly recommend this store!

This is THE place for running shoes in NJ. Joe and his staff are running shoe savants. I remember the first time I came in, as a novice runner, over 10 years ago, and showed Joe the shoes I was running in. He looked at them examined the wear pattern, and said, "These are great shoes! You should never wear them again!" The thing about running shoes these days are most of them are good; the trick is to find the one that is good for YOU. Joe and his staff are great at that. They do gait analysis, look at shoe wear patterns, ask about what running (or other activities) you do, and make excellent recommendations. Are they right 100% of the time? Well, maybe 95% of the time. But the two times in more than 10 years that I've bought shoes that didn't seem right, they just took them back and swapped them out, no issue with the 15 or so miles of "test running" I had on them, full refund, help you find shoes that work better. And if they don't have it, they'll order it. I know everyone thinks they can get a better deal online, but you really can't with Sneaker Factory. Their prices are competitive, but even if you pay a bit more, you are getting all their knowledge and expertise, their no questions asked returns for shoes that don't work out, and you become part of the local running community that they support. One of my very favorite local businesses to support!

Excellent sneaker fitting for problem feet.Billy is very knowledgeable and helped me buy a sneaker to provide great support and relieve my leg pain.Will be back there for my sneakers.

The salesman, a young man, (only person in the store), was extremely insulting and rude to me. He measured my foot and then said "That's the worst bunyon I've ever seen." I replied, "that's outspoken of you." He said, "Yeah, that's what my mom tells me." I will NOT be coming back again. (This was from today's visit - March 27, 2023 at 3:00 pm).

Horrible experience. Went to exchange pair of New Balance. I was told they had none in my size (7.5). When asked about other brands I was told store doesn’t carry 7.5 and 8 in any models. Not enough room in store. When asked if I could order reply was the all come from China and will take forever. I asked for a refund. The reply was “read the small print. No refunds only store credit”I will go to other locations and try my luck as I have no choice since no refund policy.I would not recommend store to anyone.

Horrible experience. Would not recommend this store. Went to exchange a pair of New Balance shows in Florham Park store. size 8. Asked if they had 7.5 was told store doesn't carry 7.5 and 8. Every shoe I asked about same response. When I asked if could order response was they come from China and no idea how long it will take. Told store is to small to carry inventory. When asked for refund I was told to read the small print...no refunds only store credit. The most disinterested person I have ever dealt with and I was only person in store.

I was looking for Hoka sneakers so my son and I stopped by the Sneaker Factory. Chris really helped me pick out a great pair of Hoka sneakers. I ended up buying a pair for my son as well. They had a great selection and the customer service was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend The Sneaker Factory. Make sure you ask for Chris. He gave us a discount since my son was in high school. That was pretty awesome!!! Great Store, Great Atmosphere, Great staff.
