I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Cernea for the past six years, I’m giving one star due to the unprofessional and rude behavior exhibited by the front desk staff member. She has consistently shown an unwelcoming attitude and has been extremely unpleasant to interact with during my visits.As a place of business, I believe it is essential to have friendly and courteous staff to ensure a positive experience for all patients. Regrettably, the current front desk staff member does not meet these standards and, in my opinion, should not be in a position that requires patient interaction.

Unpleasant experience. Waiting for close to an hour. Not a single person at the office came out. One told me it would be fifteen min...that turned into 45 at which point I physically stood up and asked to be seen. I was then given paperwork work to complete..and half hour after that...still no Dr to see me. I asked how much longer and was rudely told another 15 min....over an hour after being there. Never again.. UPDATE. In response to the reply from the Dr ...please note I filled out the forms in less than five minutes. Please note I was told I would be addressed at 12:30 ( conclusion of lunch) this did not happen. Infact almost twenty minutes later, I physically had to go and find your staff and let them know I was there... already past my appointment time. Please note, I was then informed at 1;15 ( now half an hour after my appointment time, that it would be an additional 15 minutes wait ...I had long ago already completed the paperwork. Please also note your office called ME days earlier and asked me to move up my appointment to 12;45.... Again...although I came early...to fill in paperwork....I was still waiting over half an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I was spoken to rudely by your staff and informed the wait would then be 45 past my appointment time. These are the facts.

My wife and I have been coming to see Dr. Cernea & Dr. Nadisha for the past 6yrs.wether if we had a medical issue, a yearly physical or just a common cold we always feel that their hospitality is very good from the entire staff. It starts at the counter the receptionist Jeily is absolutely great always on point with the appointments I need follow up by text reminders, the nurses Jennifer & Marisol are wonderful, I always feel very comfortable with the blood drawing on my physical along with blood presser checks etc. The 2 Dr's on site Nadish&Cernea are always great solving any medical issues I've had and always giving me their profesional opinion along with giving me refferals to the right specialist that suits my needs. I have and would reccomand all my family coworkers and friend to have Dr. Cernea as their general doctor.

I’ve been a patient of Dana Cernea MD for nearly 3 decades, and have been very pleased with her professional and friendly service.Love coming to a practice where you can have all diagnostics like EKG, hearing test and respiratory capacity and arterial tests and bloodwork in the same location instead of going to many labs, specialists ect and having to copay for each one. It’s a major relief and convenience!Her new place is modern and clean with polite and a competent staff.That’s why I haven’t gone anywhere else.

DO NOT go to Dr. Cernea. I will be searching for another doctor ASAP. I was billed almost $500 for routine physical blood work and similar to other reviews, she makes you come in twice for an annual physical. Seems as though the rent for her Glen Rock office must be through the roof. Save yourself a headache and money and look for another doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cernea's for close to 20 years. Although I currently live out of state, I continue to trek back to NJ just to have Dr. Cernea handle my medical care. Dr. Cernea takes the time to answer my myriad questions and her diagnostics have always been spot on (e.g., thyroid issues, diabetes, etc.). The entire office team is pleasant, responsive and accommodating. The physical and emotional support received from DC Medical is unsurpassed.

Been going there almost 3 years. As of recently this has been my last straw. Not as attentive. If I needed something extra checked out for my bloodwork is either \\\"Sorry, we forgot or not really neccessary.\\\" Receptionist is another disaster. Definitely not a people's person. I suggest she work on her personality.

My husband and I , my mother, mother in law and adult children have been going to Dr Cernea's practice for over 10 years. We have full confidence in Dr Cernea. She is an excellent diagnostician and her help over the years in coordinating complex medical care for our family is invaluable. Appointments are always readily available and the staff at DC Medical Care is always polite, friendly and professional.

Used to be fine, but now is focused only on bringing in more insurance cash. Doctor Cernea moved from having one appointment annual checkups to trying to force you to come in twice, which not only is incredibly inconvenient but also is an unnecessary charge to the insurance. In addition, the doctor is now requiring you to have an appointment every three months for medications I've been on for a decade. Apparently the move to a new office in Glen Rock is costing some extra money, because Doctor Cernea is now trying to make as much cash as possible. This really edges on insurance fraud, but definitely is a bad move if they want to keep clients who have actual jobs. Added to that some of her nurses are proud of being unvaccinated and happy to tell you (while you're trapped in a small, airless room with them), and this doctor is now a hard pass.

Echoing a similar experience, had a physical done and everyone was very nice and professional. However, the way they billed the insurance made me feel disappointed. Instead of the normal way of whole physical on first visit, follow up to go over results on second visit, they separated the actual physical into two visits. This way, they could bill the second visit as a regular visit which isn't covered under the annual physical. I was also unaware they would submit for non preventative tests, so I was billed for that as well. Usually physicals are a uncomplicated complete covered process, so I was saddened by my experience here.

Caring, Professional, Highly Recommend This doctor is the best. I came in for a routine yearly and within a day, I was diagnosed with a major problem and was cared for with accurate professionalism. It makes me really appreciate this doctor. After a prolonged recovery I am in much better health. She was able to put together a team of Dr's along with herself to quickly get me the help I needed. Thank you Dr. Cernea!

Dr. Cernea is amazing! Very knowledgeable and explains things clearly and thoroughly. She listens carefully and knows her patients extremely well. Nadisha Hosein is also a wonderful PA. I'm confident working with either one of them. They have a wonderful office staff who are polite, professional, and so helpful!
