“I called about a movie for my father and they checked and saved it for me at the register. Well executed and employees were polite and professional. I recommend.

“What a "Gem" of a bookstore. I was looking for a family owned and operated bookstore and what I found was a Treasure, right here in New Brunswick, NJ.Kaila was the most helpful and wonderful owner. She found exactly what I wanted (50 copies of a certain book) and she got them for me in a quick order. Then when I received them, each book had a personal "Enjoy this book" card and a bow. Fantastic! Some of my people when I gave them the book were so surprised and so pleased it made the book even more special. Kaila added that very personal touch that can't be found in the big, national bookstores.”

27 Walling St, Sayreville“Great place to study, located right on college ave. Only thing is that sometimes people come in and play really loud videos on their phones and sleep, which can be distracting and disturb anyone who goes there to study.. also, there’s sometimes customer service representatives who talk very loud and laugh, giggle and chatter during their shifts, that’s fine but if I can hear people laughing and I’m all the way at the end of the upstairs room, that’s being a bit excessive on the noise level, ladies! they have a cafe downstairs with coffees and drinks and snacks and sandwiches.
The bathrooms, at least the women’s bathrooms, are semi-clean. They don’t clean them often, from what I can tell; it seems like every time I go in there there’s toilet paper in the room, unflushed toilets and once I saw some menstrual blood on one of the seats.
They offer free WiFi, the speed is suitable for normal computer usage.
They have a huge selection of Rutgers apparel, but it’s very expensive.. $70 for a pair of red leggings with the Rutgers logo, way too expensive for some people. However, the quality is very nice, everything is Champion or just a very thick, nice fabric.
Overall, it’s a great place to hang around and study, just be mindful of people who use this space to study and courteous to everyone who uses this space.”
“Overall the library manager and the assistant manager are great workers, very respectable, knowledgeable and hard-working. But the student body needs to be more sympathetic when it comes to technical system glitches/errors and not lose their patience with the bookstore workers for these inconveniences. Treat these great workers with respect and politeness and they will be able to provide you with great customer service.”

465 Main St, Metuchen“This bookstore is a hidden gem tucked away in downtown Metuchen. Sure, the place could use a bit of an update and clean, but that's the charm of a used bookstore. The vast range of all genres of books is incredible, you can tell the owner has been collecting for years. Speaking of the owner, he is extremely knowledgeable, very welcoming, and always helpful. He engages in conversation if asked a question, and has been nothing but warm and hospitable. Excited to come back and explore more!”
“Such friendly staff. Great kids section and games/puzzle section. Love the cafe area by the window. Only wish is that the hardcover children’s books were cheaper.”
