I would not recommend this place, I was severely overcharged for an oil change and a battery replacement. Unnecessary fees added to the bill. Attempted to have them waive the system test and they wouldn’t even do that. Huge rip off. Don’t go here if you don’t feel like spending double the amount you would compared to auto zone.

The Matthey team is always ensuring that my car is updated to extend the life of my car and give me peace of mind! I had to take my car for an oil change and they checked my car thoroughly and made sure everything was in working order and alerted me to a few things that would need to be addressed, I trust them!!!

Matthey Automotive’s attention to customer service continues to impress. My truck recently had a flashing check engine light a few days before leaving for vacation. They were able to bring my vehicle in for service and have it ready before we left. It saved our vacation!!
I continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Great service! I called for a car inspection and got an appointment very quickly. The next day I brought my car in and they had it done by the end of the end and gave me a very thorough report on what aspects of the car needed work. Everyone at Matthey Automotive was very professional and friendly, highly recommend.

I am writing this review to warn others about my experience and prevent them from being scammed out of $165.45. I had my 2015 Hyundai Sonata towed to this shop because it wouldn't start. Before towing it to the shop, I called to explained to them that I had seen an anti-theft symbol on the dashboard before the vehicle turned off and wouldn't start. I also confirmed that this was something they could handle, and they assured me it was.
The next day, I received a call informing me they would need to keep the car over the weekend because it still wasn't starting, and they could not figure out what is wrong with it. On Monday morning, they contacted me again, saying they had used the one hour of labor to diagnose my car and would need another $165.45 to run more tests. They couldn't even guarantee these additional tests would identify the issue.
From their report, it was clear they never got the car to start in the first place, so I'm skeptical about what tests they could have actually performed. Think twice before taking your car to this shop; they seem more interested in scamming people and taking their hard-earned money.
