This is NOT America’s Florist as it used to be. It used to be a local shop where you could call and get a live person at the Bound Brook location, or stop and pick something up quick. They always knew my wife’s favorite and least favorite flowers and kept notes on file. Today I ordered online and it routed through Norfolk VA. No option to upgrade size of arrangement, and a load of added fees. Sorry to see them be swallowed up by FTD, 800 Flowers or whoever. I will miss the superb service of old.

In addition to a $16.50 delivery fee, I was charged a $9.95 "wire service." I wonder what that is.

Today 2/23 tried to call America's Florist to order a funeral arrangement. Got a message that the florist is booked up withthe valentine's holiday. Would not allow a message to be left.

Flowers were not delivered on Friday as requested. When florist delivered on Saturday no one was home. When someone finally saw note on door shop was closed for holiday. I was finally able to speak to someone on Wednesday after Christmas. She called florist and they came that day. I saw photo of flowers and they are not worth the price I paid America’s florist has a new owner and they are not local, they do not arrange flowers in bound Brook. They have locations in several states and they take orders and call nearest florist to deliver for them. I did not know this until after I placed my order. It would have been more cost effective for me to find a local florist myself. I will not call this business again.

I have used this florist for years. Have shopped in-store as well as with their kind and wonderful LOCAL staff by phone who have access to my prior orders and personal info.Beginning yesterday I have been trying to reach those nice people at America’s Florist in Bound Brook NJ even though I see that the web shows ‘delivery only’, hinting that they might not exist anymore as a brick & mortar shop. I have reached only nasty, and, pretty obviously from their not-NJ accents, ‘ladies’ who have repeatedly HUNG UP ON ME after I’ve attempted to confirm that they are in Bound Brook and therefore have access to my on-file information. I’m not comfortable giving out my credit card info again (especially to someone who is already ‘customer-service challenged’)!I’d rather shop with a local business, so, sadly, I will call elsewhere.

America’s Florist is the finest florist in Somerset County. As far as quality, design, freshness & creativity they have ZERO competition anywhere else in our area. There is a reason why this business has endured for so many years. They are quite simply TOP NOTCH skilled, seasoned & incredibly talented & creative designers! THE BEST!

Ordered a fruit basket online for delivery to another state. Received a phone call explaining that they cannot fulfill my order due to Covid concerns. I cancelled the order. (Not sure why they continue to advertise Fruit Baskets if they are not making them). The next day I noticed that the charges where withdrawn from my bank. I did call to find out why. I spoke to Greta, and although she tried to explain the banking process, she could not provide a reasonable explanation as to why my credit card was charge( money withdrawn from the account) for a product that could not be fulfilled!! Very strange business practices.

America's Florist created exactly what we had envisioned for our mother's spray on her casket. It looked as though they had picked the flowers from her garden in the spring. It meant so much to us and we are very grateful for a beautiful job well done.

I have been using this florist for close to 30 years. They make absolutely gorgeous arrangements for any occasion. Trust them let them design for you, you will never be disappointed.
