“I love Ace Hardware in River Edge cause of the paints, grills, and everything else. My program works at Ace Hardware on Tuesday's to clean the grills, sweep the floors, fix the shelves, and restock the shelves. My grandparents, Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Mike sometimes go to Ace Hardware to pick up things for their houses. I also ran into Mr. deMarrais while I was at Ace Hardware. “Craftmaster Hardware, is where it's at! I'm a Maintenace Techniacian and a good portion of my job requires locksmithing. I exclusively shop here for all my locksmith needs. Why would I exclusively shop at one place? The answer is quite simple. They have unbeatable prices, fast shipping, and phenomenal customer service! The company I work for has an account with them, so the prices are ridiculously cheap; there's is absolutely no comparison. Their prices are usually 20-25% cheaper than the regular retail price. They're really good about shipping. Anytime I purchase an in stock item, they'll ship it out the same day and I will usually receive it the next day. Their customer service is top notch, I usually deal with a sales rep by the name Don; Don's the best! If I have any question about something I'm not familiar with or what kind of lock would be good with a certain application, he's pretty good at making a suggestion. A couple times I needed some out of stock items expedited and he was able to get them to me fairly quick. There's also been instances when I needed a something same day and I was able to pick it up directly from them. If you're a locksmith or a technician I highly recommend you check this place out!”

No way could I have called or walked into a major retailer like Home Depot or Lowes and received the support ( that's beyond service) that I received from this family-owned business. “As a young adult living in NYC, a lot of emergencies come up. We have always had a good experience with emergency shopping trips here. They have been helpful with paint supplies, key duplication, plumbing emergencies, etc. I appreciate having a convenient business with helpful staff members that are nice (which isn't always the case in NYC). Much better than big box stores for most things. And fair prices, too. Standard key duplication is only $2. Definitely recommend for convenience, answering questions and guiding me to products for my project.”

“This store is the personification of the "the little engine can could". I've been going here for over 30 years and rarely leave disappointed. I love to support local businesses and this one makes it so easy. This small store has a little bit of everything. I'm constantly amazed how many times I've gone in doubting they have what I'm looking for and walk out with something that if not exact good enough. Being a small business, they don't aim to compete on price but make up for it with service and 1 or 2 versions of a lot of different products. Over the years they've saved by backside a bunch of times when everyone else was closed not to mention the drive time to go to Home Depot or Lowe's If your looking for a local store that's delivers well beyond its size, go to Butlers.”
