I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bob's Transmissions. If I could have given 10-Stars, I would have. There is no question that Bob is the best. Very friendly, quick same-day diagnostics, VERY honest with more than great pricing. My personal experience is as follows. I was on a weekend vacation in LBI having driven down from Connecticut when my just repaired transmission apparently failed. I am thinking $3,500 plus again! Maybe more bc I am a tourist. Anyway, I used Google, and I was eventually referred to Bob by the local Meineke dealer ("we have Bob do all of our transmission work". Great sign). So I had my car towed to Bob around noon. He did a complete diagnosis, and within hours he determined that it was not the transmission but rather my car went into the 'limp mode" (never knew about this?) to protect the engine. Bob told me he only had to change a fuse. When I asked him how much I owed him. He said, just $105 for his labor! No standard diagnosis charge, not even a fuse and labor install charge, and NOT some sort of substantial fake "Tourist Repair Charge" which I am sure many mechanics would have done to me. I am genuinely grateful that I went to Bob's Transmissions and met such a great, honest and ethical mechanic. I can not thank you enough, Bob!!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic

I was really impressed with the work done. I had my rear gear ratio changed from 3:31s to 3:73s in my 2011 Mustang. The install was done fast and was done really well. No noise or vibration coming from the gears I would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend Bob's Transmissions. I was referred to Bob with what was suspected to be a transmission problem but turned out to be an engine air flow issue due to a damaged electrical harness. Bob identified the issue easily and was able to procure the replacement harness quickly. He was honest and fair. The work was high quality and the car is running perfectly now. I would definitely use Bob again and refer people to him as well.

I went to Bob’s transmission service to find out why my Ford Fiesta’s tranny was missing shifts at very cold temps. Bob immediately recognized this problem occurring before and informed me that it was a recall item that could be fixed for free at dealer. I wish more Mechanics had as much integrity as Bob. ??

Bob's transmissions is a super quality shop with thirty plus years in the business!!!And not only your transmission can be taken care of but will handle all your car needs from radiator to your rear trans axel great service at great prices!!! couldn't say enough about& the work done on the vehicles I own and the friends I've sent to him..all very satisfied!!
