60 Lowell Rd, Salem“I was going to wait for photos before writing a review, but i couldn't stand the thought of waiting! My husband and I had our wedding at Birchwood last night, and it exceeded our expectations by miles. We toured this venue back in November of 2021 and booked it before we were even engaged because we knew it was special. We've now been legally married since beginning of 2022, but all of the coordinators/staff at Birchwood made us feel just as special as if we were becoming newly weds. As soon as I arrived at the venue, Denise was SO accommodating and personable. She made everyone that was apart of our day feel extra special and heard, regardless of what was ever needed throughout the night. Once the ceremony was over, Denise and this sweet blonde girl (I wish SO badly i could remember her name) were SO attentive to my husband and I. Whenever our drink was empty, there they were with a new one. Whenever we needed water, there it was. Appetizers were offered frequently, and we were asked if anything was needed VERY often. We felt SO special and so loved by everyone there.Lastly, the food was absolutely incredible and we got nothing but great reviews from all of our guests. We chose the prime rib and Tuscana chicken as our main entrees, but even the stationed and passed appetizers were delicious. We had several no shows, and the staff packaged up ALL left over food and gave it to us.If anyone is on the fence about booking Birchwood for your wedding, just know that if you do, you will not regret it at all. It's hard to look past the high $ payments that need to be made, but once the day is finally here, there will be absolutely no regrets if you choose Birchwood!!”
“Willow Spring Vineyards was the perfect venue for our wedding in October. Jenny and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful during the entire process and went above and beyond with the service. The leaves had turned color and it was a beautiful day. The vineyard scenery was beautiful. The wine was delicious too!”
“Beautiful venue! Checked off all my boxes. Very modern with a classic touch. Has a very grand apperance but not a grand price. We loved every minute we spent at Granite Rose, whether is was for a details meeting, a walk through or our wedding day. I struggled to take is all in becuase there are so many beautiful details to the venue. The staff was amazing. We worked with Victoria from start to finish and I wouldn't have it any other way. Girl KNOWS what she's doing. She listens to every ideas, inspiration and concern. She validates your unordinary desires and doesn't shy away from telling you something will not pan out like you think it will to save you any dissapointment later. She is everything I didn't know I needed in a wedding coordinator.Janet, our day of captain was amazing. She made sure we (bride and groom) didn't worry about anything. Our job was to enjoy the day and her job was to make sure we did. There was a smile on her face at every turn and she made us feel like we were the only bride and groom out there. I wanted to make her part of my family!Food was amazing! Good portions! And that cheese tortellini was perfection! Shout out to the kitchen staff Jim and Joe!Wait staff was also amazing, Isa, Jenn, Tirk, Laura and Anna rocked it.Bartenders, Dennis and Mariah, gave the bar it's own personality! Mariah mixed up a couple specials the guests were raving about! Also shout out to the security for keeping the dance floor somewhat dry!”
“I attended an event at Castleton over the weekend. The venue is stunning and it had so much to offer. Below are some things to think about if you are hosting an event here.Recommendations:GET MARRIED AT SUNSET! (you will not regret these photos.)Apps and display trays were all DELICIOUSWorked:* Wedding coordinator was on point* flow is cool (ceremony outside, cocktail hour in main building, reception area to follow.* If there is an event on the other side of your event you cannot hear it, sound proofing is done well.* Bartender quick, nice and efficient.* overall experience wonderful.* Outdoor fire places are AMAZING!* staff was quick, attentive and supportive.Didn't Work:* There is a room for the groomsman and brides maids to get dress, have space during the wedding. The bridal area is very small depending on the size of your bridal party (just something to think about).* The ATM was out of cash at the start of our event and remained that way throughout the night* Some of our time outside seemed to interlock with another families time outside.* Because another event was on the other side of ours at times there were stragglers over at our event one in which whom completely undressed in our bathroom. (Not the venues issue but something to keep in mind.) We luckily had an adult only event.”
“The venue in and of itself is jaw dropping beautiful, like something dropped out of a fairytale! The ceremony space is so beautiful, and the bridal suites are so amazing for photos and just to enjoy before the ceremony. Then to make it more magical you have the amazing food, attentive and welcoming coordinators who made my vision come to life, and a beautiful set up in the tent. I could not recommend enough this Venue!”

40 French St, Lowell“Great venue, I was worried about not getting a decent space on the lawn since they allow people to put chairs and blankets down early in the day, and we were coming from CT. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive at 530 with plenty of room left! The sound was great, and the music was of course amazing (our two favorite musicians). Parking and restrooms very close by, it was a great experience! If we lived closer we would try to see more summer shows! But we’ll be back for sure!”

260 N Main St, Andover“What an amazing experience! We got married at the Lanam Club on 10/9/21 and had the most wonderful day. From beginning to end, the staff at the Lanam Club helped us put together our vision of a wedding and ultimately delivered everything we expected. We had a smaller sized wedding (110 ppl) and it was perfectly intimate for this venue. The courtyard for the ceremony was the perfect size, interior bar and dining area were great for cocktail hour and late night dancing, and the outside tent for dinner created an awesome ambiance. The food is amazing, highly recommend the filet mignon, along with many of their passed hour 'devours. Joanna was awesome to us and helped is with everything along the way. She was available whenever we needed her and not only provided feedback on our preferences, but also gave us ideas and inspiration for our night. I highly recommend the Lanam Club for your wedding. Especially in the fall!”
“This place is a very petite venue but the bar was great and so was the service. The bands rocked the place silly, The headline tribute band Notley Crue was FANtastic! The opening band Wicked Kissah was also very good.”
“A friend rented out this space for a big birthday party and it was a blast. The space is large enough for a very large gathering. The access to bathroom is easy enough and the bathrooms were clean.”

“This is James McNeill Whistler's birthplace. The family left when he was three and when he was 21 he left The US and lived as an expatriate the rest of his life. The home to furnished with period furniture and is full of art, by Whistler, Arshile Gorky, and local artists, as well as traveling temporary exhibitions. There is a lovely park next to the house that has benches around a lawn, and a sculpture of Whistler. The museum is kind of a hidden gem in Lowell, and is well worth a visit.”

The layout offers a good mix of challenging holes and opportunities to score, keeping the game fun and engaging. The clubhouse and staff are welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're looking for a casual round with friends or a place to practice your swing, Merrimack Valley is a fantastic choice.”
“We had our daughter and son in laws baby shower here last weekend. The event space was perfect! The food was delicious and the waitstaff Xavier was attentive, professional and personable. Our guests commented that it was the best shower they had attended! Chloe the event coordinator did a wonderful job overseeing the planning of the shower. We appreciate all her help making this day stress free and such a fun day! From a happy gramma to be!”

“Everything was great! First time here. The rented skates were a bit worn (laces/velcro). I've never rented before so I'm not sure how often they update their skates but other than that, we had a blast! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pricing was fair.”
