When we purchased a home I felt like the loan officer we worked with (who got promoted to VP) really took the time to know us. She really cared, went the extra mile and deserved that promotion. Some of the systems seem a little dated compared to other banks, but I'll give them time to catch up because the service is so good.”

“I went in today to close an account. I'm giving 5 stars because the manager was really helpful, and I could feel she really wanted to do her best to help me take care of what I needed. She greeted me with a smile and asked how she can help as I walked in. I told her my situation and she told me exactly what I needed to do. The whole thing took about 10 minutes. I'm not too thrilled about the parking lot though. I almost pulled into the one way ATM exit! A bigger do not enter sign would be great please.”

“Been a customer at this Bank for a very long time and never had a problem inside. I'm thinking that just maybe no one has ever thought to mention this problem, but it would be great if the owner of the building could finally get the gutter over the ATM fixed. Countless years now, if it rains or if it snows especially, there's a spot that always leaks water and it's literally right over the ATM, so when you're using the ATM the water either drips or pours right into your car. Tried to use the ATM tonight and I couldn't (used the ATM inside) because it rained a couple nights ago... and the water was still dripping ? ... I'm sure hundreds of people would greatly appreciate if this little problem was fixed ?”

“I’ve seen some negative reviews I’m not sure why… it could be possible that some staff are new since the branch opened up.. I’ve come to realize that but my last few experiences there were pleasant. When someone there did not know something they sought help from a colleague or a manager. I’ve been in sales for some time now and always did the same thing and I appreciate the effort. We are only human. Everyone is friendly and I found it quite pleasant to be in there!”

“Who writes a review of a bank? I am in general, not a fan of banks, but I want to make a huge exception for Bank of New England.The fact they are small is a big plus...they actually know me when I call them up.I'd like to give a special shout out to Tracy Dalton at the Nashua branch who always goes above and beyond the call of duty for me when it comes to banking, and last week she saved my rear end when I locked my keys, phone and wallet in my car in their parking lot!
