The grocery store is nice but I'm Not having much luck with the pharmacy. When I call, most of the women are rude and loud, talking over my voice and just repeat the same things over to different questions. Like they are reading some sort of script. But when they made a mistake and gave me someone else's script it was smiles and giggles. I wasn't home yet and returned it promptly. I thought maybe things would change after that. Don't ask for any favors, don't expect your scripts before 11am. When mistakes are made and it causes you to wait days or until the end of the day when it's dark out no apologies just ignored. The pharmacist almost crosses the line thinking he/she are doctors. Even my dr's office laughs or gets annoyed with them. I'd like to call the district manager to be honest. They are the closest place. But I am looking for another pharmacy.

They gave me a COVID-19 booster shot at least a week before my Vermont providers would have. Both women behind the counter were competent, friendly, and polite. I was seen on time, and left on time. And I could shop for food after.

Last week my wife and I came in to the store to do our monthly shopping ( we are both retired disabled ) . We finally remembered to bring our reusable bags , When we got to the register with over $200 dollars in groceries we were told that if we wanted to use the bags we had to load them ourselves ! The State of New Hampshire had already approved the use of these bags . Can you believe the cashier refused to fill these bags for someone using a mobility scooter. You ott to be ashamed !

I needed a last minute birthday cake and flowers and this location came through. Ample parking Friendly staff Decent bakery selection (their 4-section cake with caramel, carrot, chocolate, and red velvet cakes is great and reasonably-priced at $14.99) Their flower selection wasn't the best, but I was able to get a cute plant in a tin bucket for $9.99. There weren't enough lanes open and lines were long, but I got in and out with what I needed.

Picked up some steak on Monday. Use or freeze by nov 15... got home from work today and pulled the steak from the fridge, it's all brown. $13.63 wasted. Never going back. Worse than stop n shop, and they are horrible with expiring food on their shelves.

I find everyone else (the other pharmacist and the ladies) always very kind, helpful, and personable. Their hours are convenient, as well as their location inside the store, and I rarely have to wait a couple minutes before getting out... unlike Walmart.
But I despise the way that dark haired jerk treats me whenever I'm in there. I have enough anxiety. I dont need the pharmacist who gives me my meds giving me an attitude like I'm beneath him or wasting his time. How will I ever ask a question about my meds to a person so cold? No thank you.

I shop the Hannaford store in Rindge almost exclusively. The produce is better than Market basket. The meat section has a great selection of the meats I buy every week, but the butchers at Hannaford will cut, grind and repackage meats for me, and NOT have an attitude about it. And if I'm looking for something special, I can order it. The people are so helpful and the store is always so clean. They do a great job of keeping the aisles clear, which is NEVER the case at Market Basket. There are some things that are slightly more expensive at Hannaford, but to be able to shop easily, fine absolutely everything I need, be checked out quickly and with friendly people and then have someone happily help me to my car with my groceries, is worth a little extra on those few things.

Does not encourage camaraderie among employees. If you get caught talking to another employee you will automatically get yelled at. If you call out for a shift due to weather with a travel ban you will get fired, which I'm pretty sure is illegal.
