“I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mara and the staff at Central NH Animal Care! I just switched to them from a different local vet's office, and I'm SO HAPPY I did. Dr. Mara had my extremely timid dog eating from his hand within seconds and had me laughing the entire visit. They made us feel so welcome and appreciated, my only regret was not switching to them earlier. Dr. Mara recommended a different approach for my dog on a couple different fronts, both of which were far easier, and WAY less expensive than my previous vet had been recommending, and not only did it save me a ton of money, their approach was so much better and less stressful for my dog. Dr. Mara and Olivia, the vet tech, were an absolute joy to be around. My dog and I are actually looking forward to our next vet visit. Can't recommend them enough!!”

Their quality of service is superb, friendly staff and clean facilities, while other veterinary clinic in Elkins said the brace doesn't work. “I am very happy with my experience at Allenstown Animal Hospital! Dr. O'Connell did a wonderful job for my cat's dental cleaning procedure. Included before and after photos and her teeth look pristine! Overall a good price given how well they took care of her and all the steps involved in dental cleaning for cats.”

The entire staff from the time you call on the phone to your in person visits are thorough, kind and they always find time to accommodate you in a timely manner. They are an unbelievably experienced and caring team of professionals that feel more like extended family to you and your animals than just a medical advisor. We’ve been with Joanne for over a dozen years and it’s wonderful to see her business grow with adoration and customer base but also in physical size along with the development of her new facility with all of the modern amenities a practice would need. It’s set in a beautiful and rural area with pastures and horses, yet it’s only minutes from Concord and easily accessible from Route 106. I can’t recommend this business enough to anyone that cares and loves for their animals like their own family.”

“I wish I could give them so many more stars. They have been so incredible with my boys. After every appointment they check to see how they are. One of my boys has asthma and they're so wonderful at doing everything they can to get him in as soon as possible. They're so kind and knowledgeable. I genuinely could never ask for another office again. Every vet makes the boys feel comfy and remembers them everytime and are always so sweet. We've been going here for almost 8 years. “They were wonderful! Long wait because they were short staffed and dealing with more serious situations, but so kind and compassionate. Brought us pillows and blankets and constantly checked on us and our pup. Even though the Dr had a lot going on, took time to answer our questions and didn’t appear rushed when she was working with us. The woman at the counter was so professional and composed kindly telling someone who was leaving “so sorry for your loss” and then when the woman left the building, the employee silently wept for the dog that had just passed. Just a very kind group of people who really care for the families. Way less expensive than expected. Would definitely go back!”

“My dog is VERY resistant to anyone, especially when touching her feet for nail trims. The vets and techs know just how to get this 14-pound tassmanian devil's nails trimmed and examined without hurting her. She was also able to be groomed! I love Pembroke Animal Hospital”
