Jo Louise Beauty has been responsible for all my brow compliments for MANY years, as well as makeup applications for weddings I've been in. I can't wait to hire them for my own wedding makeup one day. TRULY the only ones I trust to keep it natural but glam at the same time.The salon itself is a so welcoming, fun, & very comfortable (sometimes I don't want to leave lol!!)P.S. The JLB lip stain...... is a gamechanger!!! You will wake up in the morning with it still on! <3

Jo did my makeup for a photo shoot I’d planned with my newborn. I wanted to feel my best as a freshly postpartum Mom but not look overly glammed up for casual photos in our home.First, the salon is stunning and well lit with natural light. The space is so enjoyable to be in.Second, the cleanliness of everything- her tools, the space, everything, is so clean and it was so satisfying and reassuring to watch the way she works.Third, the work itself (while not having the best pics- the shoot was about my baby not me ?) was gorgeous. I felt so pretty and flawless. I recommend Jo to all my friends in the area looking for a makeup artist ?

Jo did my makeup for a group photoshoot and I LOVED IT!! She gave me a dark bold look and it was everything I could have imagined. She created a comfortable work environment for me to express any of my needs, her additional staff was friendly and fun!

I chose Jo Louise beauty to do my hair and make up services for my wedding in October 2023; everything turned out beautiful! Originally when I had reached out I was booked with Joanna for make up and another girl to do hair. But I guess that girl had left and so Joanna contacted me to ask if Tyler was okay to fill in. I did do a hair/ make up trial about a year before and wore it all night to another wedding I was attending so I could get the full effect. At first I was nervous about the airbrush make up but I fell in love. It lays so nicely on your face and really gives a flawless finish. I had some blemishes on my chin and they were perfectly covered! We had 5 girls for make up and 8 for hair. All of my girls looked amazing at the end. Each did their own slight variation of a light glam make up look. Joanna even gave me a little case of my lip color after she was done so I could touch up throughout the night! Tyler seriously killed the hair dos! My girls each requested a half up half down look with a little different twist to each. Their curls held all night as well which is a huge plus because some of them had longer hair. It amazed me that he could look at a picture for less than 5 seconds and perfectly mimic what was being asked for. Both of them were so enjoyable to work with, day of and prior too!

Jo Louise Beauty is a team of incredibly talented professionals. Their beauty services are the best in the business. I have being getting my hair, makeup and eyebrows done here for 7+ years and have never found a reason to look elsewhere. The consistency is incredible! If you have not visited the fun, vibrant salon, I highly encourage it. The whole experience from start to finish is 10/10!

Edited to respond to lies from the owner:1. I had my hair colored on 8/31. Abby Hill knew I was going to a work conference and knew I was unhappy and said because she knew at that point I was unhappy I could contact her when I returned. I called back when I arrived home and twice more. It is not my fault you do not return my call in a timely manner. The fact remains she knew I was unhappy and lied claiming she'd fix it to get get me to leave.2. I did not even know what root smudge was nor was I asked about it. That is a staring out lie. After she did it she said she just automatically does it to every client.3. I have never met or spoke to you. I did not make that comment about my hair. I did say that in the past others have added too much blonde and I had to add back brown. Another lie.4. Yes I reviewed you on several platforms because no one has ever called me back or fixed the issue they knew about and claim they would fix.Original review:I went to Abby Hill for a partial foil. I was not sure what service to buy, but showed her several inspo pics. She said I booked the correct service and got started. She was very friendly during the service. The top inch and a half was very brassy and redish - exactly what I did not want. She claimed the odd coloring pattern was root smudge - something I did not ask for. I'll be honest... I'm not sure if its normal to add root smudge or if she was trying to cover up a mistake).When I was done she could tell I was not happy. I told her I was not happy. I was leaving for a work conference early the next day. She did not have time to fix it, but because I was happy waiting the week would not be an issue. In order not to look ridiculous for a small portion (bang area) she wet it and then put toner on it to try to block the red. It helped some (at least that small front portion).I called when I returned from my work conference and she was short with me. Claimed she saw me "weeks" ago - wrong. She said the root smudge would wash out in six weeks and basically good luck. When I pushed it, she said she could cover it with another smudge but even that would go red - I think she was just trying to make sure she did not have to fix it, or more concerning, she cannot fix it. She then asked when I was free... apparently she was very fully booked because every slot was taken - how convenient. Then she claimed she'd call me back to schedule me in and never called me back. It has been a week. I tried to call them again and they did not call me back. Looks like I need to go somewhere else and try to get this fixed. I only hope it is really root smudge and not a odd bleaching pattern.Please not that I remained calm and respectful. I fully paid for my service and ever gave her a good tip (regrets).Services: Shampoo & conditioning

We used Johanna and Tyler and for my friends wedding. They both came on time and did a wonderful job. Each bridesmaid did slightly different makeup and hair. Tyler did my hair first. I showed him a couple of inspo pictures and he went to work. He did such an excellent job and was so kind and helpful. The products he uses are salon quality and smell so good. Johanna did my makeup after. She is extremely knowledgeable and talented. I showed her the picture I wanted and she gave me the exact look. She uses airbrush for foundation which gives a flawless look to your skin. She ensures each tool that is used is sanitized and cleaned. I loved the way my makeup came out. Overall this company is amazing. Their staff so kind and skilled in their field. I couldn't recommend them enough for any type of special event they will make you feel and look amazing!

I used Jo Louise Beauty for my wedding hair and makeup. They were SO wonderful to work with and exceeded my expectations. I received a ton of compliments on how amazing my hair and makeup looked. They made me feel like a true princess! I'll never forget how beautiful I felt on my wedding day. If you're looking for a hair and makeup artist in this area I highly recommend Jo Louise Beauty.

Recently visited On a whim and had my makeup done by Jo! She is literally a queen! My makeup came out better than I had ever expected and lasted all day and night. I was complemented many times. Will definitely be back!

Had a great experience with Johanna! She did my bridal makeup with my 4 bridesmaids and mother/mother in law. It came out exactly has I hoped (medium glam with lashes). My mother in law was nervous about getting too much makeup since she doesn’t wear any usually but even she was super pleased with how hers came out!

I was greeted so kindly by the receptionist I knew I was about to have an amazing experience. I came in to see Abby and couldn't be happier with my results I showed her a picture and she did EXACTLY what I asked for. I will absolutely be coming back my new favorite salon
