Not only was the flow and conversation of getting a personal sub exactly what I've missed about the event, they made me EXACTLY what I asked for. They truly make sure almost every ingredient can be tasted in every bite. And when I say perfect, holy hell. When I said light salt, I tasted light salt. Oils, heavy on pepper, meats and cheese exactly or not better than what I'd expect. I've been waiting year for a true deli sub and they delivered. Only a certain appreciates this kind of moment.”

“I've found some mold on tomatoes that I bought (underside, couldn't see it in the store) and it has been present in every container of raspberries I've looked at.The store staff, deli counter staff and cashiers have all been wonderful, most of them are overwhelmed and I don't fault them for missing tiny mold spots inside plastic berry containers that need to be opened in order to catch. Just open every container of berries you get and check before buying, like you'd do with eggs to check if they were cracked.”

“Not a regular Shaws customer (Market Basket girl here) but got charged 10x over today at the Daniel Webster location for the 2 items I bought, and only realized when I checked my bank statement later at home. No one answered when I called customer service (I'm assuming staffing issues) so had to make the drive back. I was ready for a hassle because the self checkout I had used wouldn't give me a receipt so I brought the bread and meat with me. Ronnie and Shayleen at customer service are the kind of employees Shaws should be paying triple the amount of whatever they are making. They both quickly confirmed the register hadn't cleared my transaction and the man after me got free food that I payed for. They gave me back my money in cash and could not have been more friendly and pleasant despite both of them being obviously under staffed and busy. Are you listening Shaws? Give Ronnie and Shayleen a raise for managing your store so wonderfully!”
