The Merrimack New Hampshire gym is very dirty and unkept. The staff are very rude and unprofessional and the trainers are a joke. All they care about is making money and not focusing on the clients needs and goals. Management there is very rude and unfriendly and unprofessional. The equipment has never been updated because management or the owner could care less about the upkeep of this gym the owner only focuses on the Nashua gym whereas the other gyms are run down and not updated equipment at all. I found a better gym with many more incentives and offers. Not worth the investment because all they're out for is money. If you tried to cancel they will still take money out months after even after writing an email to cancel it appropriately

I've been on this earth for 6 decades and I've had my share of gyms in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. FITLAB in Merrimack, NH is the best of all of them by far. In terms of cleanliness, friendliness and equipmentness(not sure if this is a word but it applies), I've never seen better, or even its equal. If you are training somewhere else, you settled for second best in my opinion. Please note, I have no relationship with management or ownership. Give it a try, I bet you sign-up.

As someone who has started and stopped her fitness journey many times, and definitely has some gym anxiety, atmosphere means a lot. I have been a member of other gyms in the past and never walked through the door feeling the way I have at Fitlab Merrimack from Day 1. The staff and trainers are engaging, motivating, and truly make you feel like you just joined a family. If you are looking for a gym with a true community feel, I highly recommend you come check them out!

Recently rejoined FitLab Merrimack after being at the purple gym for two years, very pleased with all the upgrades. I have been attending physical therapy sessions needed specific equipment for the exercises. FitLab has all the equipment required. FitLab is a well run facility. I’m very happy with my decision to return.

The gym itself is nice. Good equipment, nice facility, clean locker rooms. Working out there is overall good and I've rarely had issues with overcrowding or not being able to find an open bench, squat rack, machine, etc. The big issue with the entire FITLAB business is its abusive and shady membership policies. You are required to sign a lengthy document for your "membership agreement" and they make cancellation an absolute nightmare, even if you are canceling within their guidelines for moving a certain distance from the club. They use a billing company that is difficult to communicate with, is unhelpful, and sends collections agencies after you even though you are paid up or had canceled. I have been lied to by their staff saying that my membership was canceled, yet was continually charged for months before a strongly worded email finally got them to refund me and stop charging me 9 months later. I would highly recommend finding a different health club if you value your sanity, may quit the gym, or have a possibility of moving before your membership agreement ends. Family-owned, non-chain gyms tend to be the best for this. And whatever you do, DO NOT PAY WITH YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT.

I like this place, it does have a comfy vibe to it, mostly because the staff is small and the clientele is diverse. So if you have anxiety about gyms I think it’s a good place for all body types to find a home here.I think the manager is the hardest working person there, he’s always cleaning or taking care of something, but he’s aware of what is going on.Equipment is great - there’s a side of the gym that might also be a bit more comfortable for women to work out in. There are some areas aesthetically that could use updating but this is not a big issue. Overall, it’s great! If you’re into yoga, there’s a great studio next door.

I want you to know…I have been trained by Sports Medicine trainers, Physical therapist, etc…Jesse Bradley at Merrimack Fit Lab well surpassed my expectations. I’m not an easy customer when it comes to someone training me. You will not be disappointed. Just don’t take my time slots lol. ?

I did a little research before choosing this gym a month ago. It sounds like this place has undergone some positive changes in the past few years, and I can confirm that this is a wonderful gym today. The staff has been very friendly and helpful, the gym is very clean, and the overall environment is respectful. It's a well mixed crowd, from long-time gym goers to those who have just begun their journey. It's a good fit for everyone. People are polite. The one pumped up dude who was slamming his weights was promptly asked to stop by a staff member. It's never over crowded, so you can always get a good workout in. There's very little negative criticism to be had here. They could use another squat rack. And the dumbbells could be more clearly labeled, but that's just a nit-picking thing (I've gotten used to it anyway). I'm happy I chose FitLab in Merrimack, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

I have been to a lot of gyms over the years, and Fitlab Merrimack under Dana’s management is top notch. The space is really cool - open concept feel with some great equipment and plenty of space for everyone. The morning staff is extremely friendly and the place is always clean. I take advantage of the 24/7 option and could not be more grateful that a facility like this can be accessed whenever is most convenient for me. Dana takes so much pride in this gym and always makes himself available for questions, concerns and any other feedback. I have a lot of respect for him and he really does a great job running everything. Regardless if you are a seasoned lifter or someone trying to get on track with their fitness, everyone will feel welcome here - Absolutely recommend this gym!

This is by far the best gym I have gone to! It has plenty of equipment, it’s clean and the staff are all nice and helpful especially the manager Dana. My boyfriend and I both make a drive to this location because of how great the gym is. Definitely recommend!

Fitlab is a solid no frills gym. Decent size and generally not too busy so finding equipment isn't tough. Some of the equipment is old but they are currently updating their cardio machines. Staff is polite and accommodating. Could use another squat rack and reverse hyperextension machine.
