We gave my son a new chain for his 15th birthday and within a week the ring that the clasp attaches to had broken. Here on vacation, we asked a local for a recommendation and she sent us into Estes. The ring was able to be replaced on the spot! We are so grateful for the excellent service and quick turn around. Thank you!

We went to see Estes Collectible Investments for a new ring for my wife for our 20th anniversary. All I can say is wow. Dan went above and beyond our expectations to get what she wanted, and the final piece was amazing. We have used Estes Collectible Investments in the past to scrap out some gold/silver jewelry we had, and the prices could not be touched by any other places around. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to purchase their next heirloom piece of jewelry or just getting top dollar for your items. We will only see Dan from now on for any of our jewelry or collectible purchases because of his knowledge and genuine professionalism in the industry.

My husband and I have been going to see Dan Estes for about 5+ years now. Over the years we have spent thousands of dollars. Thousands!! Up until the last two transactions with him we were satisfied with doing business with him. We will never, ever recommend him, or be back to give him any more of our money. A month, and a half ago my husband and I went there one Saturday afternoon. Dan had 2 sapphire and diamond bracelets. One was $1000, and the other was $1250.00. I decided to go with the least expensive, and handed Dan my Discover card. We got talking, and we said our goodbyes. On the way home (we live an hour from his store), my husband said, 'I thought the bracelet was $1000?' I replied, 'It was.' My husband was in the passenger seat looking over the receipt. We had bought a couple of items that day. Well come to find out he charged us for the more expensive of the 2 bracelets. I immediately called him, and told him his math was wrong. He replied, 'Well I will keep a store credit here for next time your in.' Which sounded fine with me, because we frequented his shop on a regular basis. So, we had a credit for $250.00 A few weeks later we decided to make a trip there because he had something we were interested in. We got there, and he was closing up but let us in. We were checking out the bracelets, and more people walked in. Two older couples looking for coins, and possibly for a sapphire ring. They were vacationing in town. I actually spoke with one of the ladies. She was very pleasant. At about that time Kathy walked in. Dan asked her to finish with us so he could help the other people. I really wasn't sure that I wanted the bracelet, but my husband said to get it because he knows I had been wanting one. So, Kathy wrote up the order, and we reminded her of the $250.00 credit. She went over to Dan, (whom was still helping the other couples at the desk), to ask about our credit. He looked over with a look of perhaps he had forgotten what our credit was? I don't know. Kathy deducted the $250 credit, and charged our Discover $3550.00. By the time the next Saturday came we were driving back to return the bracelet. It had sharp edges that ruined 2 blouses, and it wasn't comfortable to wear as it wasn't flexible....it was very stiff. It was 1 week to the day, and he wasn't open during the week, AND NO WHERE ON THE RECEIPT DOES IT SAY NO RETURNS OR THAT THERE WOULD BE A FEE IF ITEMS ARE RETURNED!!! I went to the counter to tell him my dissatisfaction with the bracelet, and wanted to return it. He looked upset, and said, 'Well there's a $200 fee to return it.' I was like, 'Why can't you just credit back my Discover, it's only been a week.' He replied, 'Because that is what my credit machine charges me.' I was in shock and disbelief. i had no choice, and I STUPIDLY was going to do more business with him because he had a gemstone I was possibly interested in. So...AGAIN I left with him holding a credit for me for $3550. My husband was very upset he had charged us $200.00, and when we got home he called Discover. They said they didn't charge any fees, and they have never heard of a fee of $200.00 on a return, and especially if it wasn't written on the receipt or posted in the store. My husband waited for the following week to speak with Dan about it because that is when the gemstone would be there. My husband took a look at the stone, and didn't like it. He also informed Dan that he called Discover, and what they had told him. He also told Dan it had only been 1 week since the return, and again NO WHERE ON THE RECEIPT OR IN THE STORE WAS IT POSTED THAT THERE WOULD BE A FEE FOR RETURNED MERCHANDISE! Dan couldn't have cared less, and said, 'Well that's the charge.' My husband said, 'Well I'll take my check for the credit your holding of mine.' Dan's response was, 'Oh...the $3000.00', and told Kathy to write him a check. My husband spoke up, and said, 'No. You m

Dan at Estes Jewelry sells a nice variety of estate jewelry and other collectibles. A friend recommended him to us after he made beautiful necklace from an old family ring. They are a bullion dealer of gold and silver for cash. Dan Estes will also help people to learn how to invest in the gold and silver bullion markets. They also do appraisals of jewelry and coins and talk to people about their items. Estes is an expert on coins from the US and gold coins from all over the world. He makes custom jewelry and also sells a nice selection of metal detectors and equipment to help mine for gold.
