“I use this pharmacy all the time, great staff and they're very nice, I've been going here for so long that everyone that works here including Ken himself knows me by name and to be honest that's awesome to be able to call or walk in there and they know who I am!”

“I absolutely love this store. I only wish it sold a larger variety of sodas and cookies. Usually they have the shelves well stocked, and a fruit is usually very fresh as is the veggies.”

“They were able to fill a medication that’s on back order at many other pharmacies, relatively quickly, and conveniently. But not only that, the store itself is absolutely darling and has such a great selection of everyday products, novelty items, accessories and gifts. If anyone in the Manchester area has ANYONE they may need to get a gift for, stop in and I guarantee you’ll find something amazing for them at this place. Great customer service as well.”

“Donna remember my name as a first time customer and was very very professional while also being friendly and caring as well as funny. She interacted with customers better then I’ve ever seen before while also maintaining the line. Donna if you see this I hope you know the simple act of remembering my name from a few hours before really made my day. I can tell you truly care about your customers and people like you with a uplifting spirt make a difference in this world.”

“I think people need to take some of the reviews with a grain of salt. For instance, some of these RECENT complaints are from customers who have verbally abused staff, using profanity, even going so far as to call them names. Specifically, one pharmacy technician was called a “Troll” by the review from EC, 6 days days ago.People need to stop and remember that these pharmacy technicians are people, too, and a lot of things are out of their control. They do not have the authority to order more medications, when they run out of stock. They do not control the pharmaceutical companies, the distributors, who don’t give them a full supply of what they DO order. And on top of it, they have to deal with you grumpy lot, all day every day.Kindness goes a long way. And be careful what you say, you never know who’s watching and listening.”

“I just started OSA therapy this week and am seeing Ann for my equipment and associated accessories.Ann not only thoroughly and extensively explained my apap machine and the different types of mask options, but she has been very patient with my numerous questions and extremely kind and friendly.Additionally, she sincerely listens to all my concerns and problems, which is an unfortunate rarity these days. I am so grateful to have matched up with Ann, she genuinely cares about my health as a whole.I left today in tears feeling very thankful to have a medical provider who is not only in my corner and rooting for my best health, but one who also helps me feel empowered to advocate for myself in my other areas of health where I have concern. If you're lucky enough to have care provided by Ann, consider yourself blessed. She's an absolute angel.”

“I have to tell you a story about one of your employees...William...not sure or his last name. My wife and I came into the store today around 3:30. We were looking to get our passport photos taken. We were met by William (Will) who told us that he had just clocked out, but that he would be happy to help us get our pictures taken and helped to finish the process. We were impressed by his professionalism and his willingness to help us even though he was "off-the-clock". When my wife's picture didn't meet the requirements set by the government's program on the printer, Will took his time to retake the image so that we had the proper picture for our passports. Not only did he do all of this great work for us, but, he saw that the cashier on duty was overwhelmed, so, he asked us if it was okay if he could step away to help her...AMAZING! I am not sure who Will is but, you should let him know that we think of him as someone who stands out for what customer service really means. Please do that for us. Thanks, Mike and Moe”

“I'm sad to see people gives negative reviews. It seems like it's mainly for the pharmacy. I'd like to give a shout out to the front staff. They're always so friendly and welcoming. I look forward to coming just because they're so nice.”

“Hannaford is an American supermarket chain based in Scarborough, Maine. The first store was founded in Portland, Maine, in 1883, Hannaford operates stores in New England and New York. The chain is now part of the Ahold Delhaize group based in the Netherlands, and is a sister company to formerly competing New England supermarket chain Stop & Shop.I could tell since many of the "private label" Stop & Shop items were sold here. I was in the neighborhood getting gas at the BJ's when I realized I needed some water for my trip, so I drive across the street to this grocery store to get my water. The store is very roomy...like their produce section is very spread out making shopping a real pleasure...the aisles all over the store are also very wide and very well kept.It was a nice shopping experience...I would say it felt more like an upscale neighborhood market than a Stop & Shop type store.”

“They have Always been amazing to me and my family. My mother's medications are quite pricey and her Regimen complicated. They have fought for my mom with the insurance companies for her to get what she needs at reasonable prices despite them denying it over and over. They are a godsend.”

“I recommend this strictly on the staff, a bunch of hardworking, really nice people. They are always pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy it is, and it's busy there pretty much all of the time now. It's also a very clean, neat, well-organized store.”

“I think their great for the most part. Each person I've worked with on phone or in person are helpful and respect my issues (severely hard of hearing) and are patient when I need to use captioning. My only issue, is that there aren't any weekend hours, so by my fault, I can run out for a day or 2. Other issues, (not them... but some medications shortages) which have made me go elsewhere temporarily, but I go back when they have in stocks. They handle 10-15 prescriptions for myself and my family and for the most part they make it fairly easy.”

“I love, love, LOVE this grocery store. First and foremost, the employees are amazing. They are all so courteous and helpful. They always have everything I need in stock. Other shoppers are typically always courteous as well. I typically don't look forward to going to the grocery store, but since I've found this location I do look forward to going.. the deli team in particular is just phenomenal. They are always so pleasant and it makes a trip to the grocery store a good time.. I found this location over a year ago and it is the only Hannaford I will shop at now. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work!!”

“I wasn’t able to catch her name, but the young lady that works at the Pharmacy is the absolute sweetest! (Believe she has blonde straight hair) She took the time to help me with my prescription which she didn’t even have to do but did anyways! She deserves recognition for going above and beyond!! I have ran into her a couple times at the pharmacy and each time she has a positive attitude no matter how busy it is and she’s very attentive. I usually seem to deal with angry people everywhere i go so it’s very nice to see someone who is pleasant and takes their time to help you. Thank you again ! :-)”

“Great Service Overall... Kevin is a pharmacist that extremely rude and unprofessional. I had a simple question about when I could pick up my prescription and he ended up yelling, “ Fill it somewhere else!!” Narcissistic personality.”

“My first time to this Walgreens and what a great experience. I was looking to stock up on some vitamins after seeing that Walgreens was having a big 'buy one get one' sale on all available brands. When I walked in I noted how clean and organized the store was as I made my way to the vitamin aisle. I spent a good deal of time seeking out my vitamins and comparing quantity vs. price, big bottles vs. small bottles, calculating the price per pill to get the most value per dollar spent. I actually thought that with this location being inner city that I may look suspicious with the time I was spending in that one aisle (being a logical man who grew up in a city) but no I was never made to feel uncomfortable or like I was lingering or otherwise. In fact, at one point the store Manager (extremely nice woman who was wearing a headband that day, regretfully I did not note her name) was casually walking by and gave me a big smile, to which I smiled back and said "I'm sorry to bother you but I cannot find a particular vitamin", to which she replied "No you're not bothering me at all, that's what I'm here for. What can I help you with?" She proceeded to get down on one knee and hustle all down the aisle to look for what I was seeking, she turned every bottle, checked all the backs of all the shelves, and ultimately found '3' different options for me that I just was not seeing for myself. The entire time she was so very pleasant and I really appreciated this level of service from the store Manager, so I thanked her repeatedly for her time spent assisting me.When I finally went to checkout, the young lady (perhaps her name was Stephanie, long hair and glasses), was just the kindest person ever. She was so professional and while speaking both English and Spanish fluently without pause, assisting multiple customers at once and doing a great job of it. I had a about 12 bottles of vitamins (supply for the entire year) and as I was saying 'buy one get one' she nicely said "Oh yes, but that is only with the Walgreens account". I immediately said "I'm in!" and she began to walk me through setup. That particular day the machine froze up while trying to setup the new account, followed by the 2nd machine freezing (both front registers). The store Manager had also come over and by this time a small line was building behind me. Both employees were very calm and professional in this stressful situation and requested that all customers in line please move to the 'Photo counter' for checkout. Because of how nice these employees were I allowed all customers behind me to go ahead of me, just in case the 'freeze' happened again. Once I got back to (Stephanie ?) she was still pleasant as could be, not stressed at all, and picked up right where we left off with a big smile. My new account went through on that machine without a hitch, no freezing, and she rang in all of my products explaining about the deals I was getting as she did. She then proceeded to bag my items and explain the coupons I was receiving while handing them to me. Just really what a great trip to Walgreens that day, I got everything I needed and with hands down 'the best customer service' I could have ever asked for. Both of those ladies deserve a pat on the back and a raise for their level of service.Side note: While I spent about 20+ minutes in the vitamin aisle the pharmacy was within view and earshot of me the entire time. While I did not utilize the pharmacy/pharmacists that day I heard nothing but professionalism, proper language, proper tones, and witnessed them hustling to get cars through the window as quickly and efficiently as possible. It did not seem to me that they were rushing for 'themselves' but rather they were trying to get the 'customers' their medication so the customers could go on about their day and not sit in a drive through line for longer than necessary.I will definitely be returning to this Walgreens on Valley St. for”
