I just experienced the worst customer service with an employee at the mall of NH in Manchester. I walked in with my 6 year old and she said come on up. Thought she was talking to me so I walked right up as there was no one waiting. And then another women walked up and I said “oh I’m sorry! I thought you were talking to me!” They both laughed with each-other and looked at me. She took one person ahead of me after that and I didn’t say anything. After 20 mins of sitting there with my son she takes ANOTHER customer. I am in clear view not to mention, my son is getting impatient. So I got up and asked what her name was and walked out. All I wanted to do was make a return. And I was very pleasant when I walked in. I work customer service so typically being patient comes naturally but not when she is flat out ignoring me. And there is no question that we are there. Terrible customer service.

First let’s start with good! Dr. Pike is the independent optometrist and is amazing. I’ll go there just for him.
About the store in the Mall. No good. Friendly but not very thorough. I purchased my first pair of progressive lenses back in September last year (never got a case with it either!) for $391 out of pocket. Allegedly $700 without VSP.
Couldn’t see well with them assisting to progressive so after two weeks I went back and spoke with them. The last was nice and said they are progressive lenses it takes a while to get used to them. Ok… fast forward a few more weeks I decided the glasses are not for me, tossed them in the drawer and went back to cheaters.
Fast forward to today, 9 months later…
Had a new exam prescription still the same. Explained to Dr. Pike how the transitions are not for me so we agreed to try intermediate/computer rather than progressive.
I chose to go to the other LensCrafters not in the mall but the other side of the city.
Gave them my script, told my story and she looked up in computer. She said “Oh, I think you may have had a bad experience because I got a different measurement of the OCH”. I believe she said she got 26.5 and the other had 23. She said that is a significant difference and would make sense why I experienced the tough adjustment.
With that said, you would think they would have validated the fit when I questioned it and made it right rather than saying they take time to get used to…
So 9 months later, I’m out another few hundred dollars due to a potential measuring issue.
On a positive note, the location I went to today has the exact same frames which I purchased. (Surprisingly cheaper than just lenses….)

When I showed up to work at the mall my lense popped out of my glasses. I stopped by Lense Crafters for assistance, even though I did not get my glasses there Kathy helped me out by correctly getting my lense back in and cleaning them. She was a life saver thank you for having kind people willing to help.

Staff was wonderful, kind, courteous, super-fast, and efficient. I had to have my frame replaced and I was in/out of there in 10 minutes!! Thank you so much!!

The lady that helped me choose my frame was very friendly and the lady at the counter was super helpful helping me finding out my insurance benefits for vision. She helped me save some money. I wasn't trying to break the bank and I left very satisfied with this interaction. Thank you everyone at this location for their help.

My first experience was fantastic so I let the second experience which was extremely poor go. However a third experience with the exact same rude staff member from the second time has definitely caused me to take my business elsewhere.

Very disappointed. Made the appointment two weeks ago and gave all my insurance information. Arrived for my appointment tonight and found they don't accept my insurance but I can pay in cash for my visit.
Disgusting. They had plenty of time to check out the insurance and get back to me. Waste of time and effort. Not recommended.
