The staff are super friendly. It's kept tidy and clean. Tip if you want to use the hydrobed or tanning bed, they stop taking customers 30 min before they close.

I attempted to re-open my membership that I had at PF. I came in and spoke with a very nice young lady who told me that I would receive a discount if I presented my AARP card. I didn’t have it on me so I went home to get it. I came back the next day and a woman who presented herself as a new manager informed that they don’t take those. I said to her that a member of her staff told me that you did. She asked me who I spoke to, and I asked her, “Ma’am, do you remember the name of ever customer service rep you do business with, especially if the exchange is pleasant?”Without saying a word, she turned away from me and went to the nearest computer and said, “I’m not re-opening your membership!”I was flabbergasted.“Why?”“Because I have a no-rudeness policy and you were rude to me.”“Ma’am, with all due respect, I simply asked you a question.She raised her voice and said, “ o, you were rude.”I turned to leave and she yelled, “Goodbye. Have a nice day.” I took the last comment as sarcasm but asked her her name which she told me. I will not post her name in this review.I called corporate 3 times. Once, I was hung up on; the second time the phone just rang and the third time a nice young lady heard my complaint, promised an investigation would be launched and I would receive a call back. That was a month ago. Managers should never treat anyone the way this manager treated me. I believe that it is the mangers responsibility to listen and at a minimum be courteous and solve problems not create them. The first corporate rep told me that since the PF’s are franchises, the managers can refuse membership to anyone at their discretion. Sorry for being so long winded but this encounter took me by surprise soon e I thought anyone in management should have basic people skills.

I was a member of the Ardmore PA gym, through my insurance. It was spotless every time and the staff is very friendly and responsive.I moved, enrolling in the Pocono location and was shocked at how rude, unfriendly and unresponsive the staff is. The place is absolutely FILTHY EVERYWHERE IN THERE. I sent a certified cancellation letter to location, receiveing a call from a manager, whose name was fuzzy on the voicemail, advising I should stop in to discuss the cancellation, which I did. I was shocked again with alleged manager, joe, who is a total jerk. He advised I must pay the cancellation fee, because, unbeknownst to me, I'm in a contract. They do make it very hard to cancel. My bank account was debitied $10 again, TODAY. I called them and unfortunatly, got joe the jerk, who said I was supposed to pay the cancellation fee when I was went there to discuss the issue, but I walked away without paying. He did not advise me when I was on site, that I should pay the fee that day, which I would have gladly done, to prevent those robbers from taking more from my account. joe made no attempt to call me back as I walked away, to advise the payment or procedure. I will be filing with our state Attorney Gerneral's office. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. It is DISGUSTING!

I just canceled my YouFit membership and joined Planet Fitness! I have worked at several different local gyms when I lived in California and Florida. The Planet Fitness that I joined is the new West Port Charlotte, Fl. one! I absolutely LOVE it!!! I have never had a membership with a Planet Fitness and I have to say that initially I was turned off when I called and JC told me to come over so that he could show me around and when I arrived he had left! I drive a truck and it uses up a lot of gas so I was less than happy to find that the person that told me to come had simply dismissed me like a piece of garbage! But, Alexa, this smiling, happy, young lady was extremely patient with my trillion questions! I signed up online and worked out the very next day! Once more, poor Alexa got my thousand and one questions, honestly by the next day if I had been this poor girl, I would have run screaming every time I saw someone like me approaching the gym, but not Alexa, she always greeted me and all my questions and mistakes with a friendly and warm smile, she even picked me as one of her favorite new members, ya I know, me! I couldn’t believe how patient and kind this young lady had been with me and she didn’t hate me! She actually embraced me! I LOVE my new home at West Port Charlotte Planet Fitness but I won’t lie, I will absolutely miss the manager and personal trainers and front desk staff and YouFit Port Charlotte, they too are incredibly loving and kind people!

Signup took 5 minutes and was very easy. However, they make cancellation extremely difficult on purpose so you'll just give up and pay them forever.I reached out two months ago to cancel my membership and never got a response, but they kept charging me. When I looked in the app it said (and still says) I don't have any upcoming payment and don't even have bank account information on file. Yet they continue to charge my bank account.When I called my home location to ask for cancellation I was told I have to come there in person or send a letter through the mail to cancel, but if you live in California you can just cancel through the app no problem. This is an extremely obvious anti-customer policy designed to make you keep paying them forever. Cancellation should be as easy as signing up. If you're that worried about keeping customers, maybe you should reflect upon your business practices and ask yourselves why customers might want to cancel.As it stands now, they've charged me over $100 for the single visit I made to the gym before I decided to cancel my membership. The lack of communication and unwillingness to help is completely unacceptable and goes against everything the company claims to stand for. This policy is causing people to HATE your company. I mean seriously, LOOK AT THE REVIEWS YOU HAVE ON GOOGLE. What respectable company has a 1.3 star rating on Google?! You need to change what you're doing. There's a good reason people hate Planet Fitness, and this is it. CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. STOP CHARGING ME. REFUND MY MONEY. Your level of blatent corporate greed is seriously disgusting and I am appalled.

Last month I cancelled my membership and was still charged dues. I have been in contact with the District Manager to get my refund. I was told 3 weeks ago I would be refunded. It's been 3 weeks and nothing. Each email back I have been told that the refund is pending and last email he said for my trouble he would refund me an additional month. This is absolutely ridiculous. I tried contacting someone else in coorperate however, I can't find a way and the club won't give me a phone number.

I haven’t been to the gym since probably September 2021, I finally went in to the Columbia PA, location to CANCEL my membership November 2022, come to find out my account was “frozen”. Fast forward to October 2023, I get a charge from planet fitness on my bank statement, so I did a little digging & I see that I have been getting charged since March of 2023… I spoke with the manager Savannah, who then precedes to tell me “it was a manager who froze your account, they wouldn’t mix up the process & make that mistake”. Well, they can’t refund me for the months I was being charged that I was under the impression it was cancelled & also HAVEN’T been there in over 2 years… Sorry savannah, the “manager” at the time made that mistake, but you guys won’t admit that.

I called PF CORPORATE in New Hampshire and spoke to a man about fake late charges many have payed but nothing was done at gym level, or refund. Bank numbers are correct for auto pay, how can you try to charge late fee monthly to your loyal members who put up with PF BS like this! Numerous complaint about fake late charges and nada! Somebody is scamming members at PF. Distrust breeds contempt. District MGR KRYSTAL never responds, their response here is fake. I have parents and student at PF who complain of the same dishonesty in billing. Attempts to change location or cancel are made impossible; why the disrespect?

I joined a club in Hicksville, NY with the classic membership. That means you can only go to one club. I go to the club and it is closed for renovations. Nobody is in there. Nobody answers the phone. There social media people don't deal with membership. They tell me to call the nearest club which is in Levittown, NY. I do. The guy on the phone can't help me but says someone will get back to me right away. That was two weeks ago. I call their customer service for their headquarters. They can't help me they say, but will have the club call me back. I hear nothing. I call again today and they tell me the same thing. Meanwhile, they are charging me for a club membership that I can't use. They are terrible!!!

I performed a service to the Oak Harbor Wa establishment in April 2023 to keep their doors open for members. To this date, after many attempts to collect, I have still not been paid for my services. Corporate HQ would not respond to emails.CSI Locksmith
