“Rating on the basis of just having a stray scanned. Very clean, but hard to get a person on the phone. When we left, unfortunately we saw a deceased cat in the road practically right in front of the building, so we called to tell them. We were busy driving and trying to comfort our stray kitten. They responded with " call animal control". We had to respond with, "Can you? We aren't sure where we are and we've got an upset kitten in the car. This was after 3 calls, and we knew they were there and had 0 customers there. They were just letting the automated machine answer. It was 2:10, their lunch hour ended at 2:00. Didn't think that was cool? And they are pricey. But that was just one experience, I gave them 4 stars because of benefit of the doubt.”
“The professionalism, expert care, and kindness shown to us during what would turn out to be our precious feline's final days was outstanding. They treated us with the utmost respect, and were very clear and straight with us every step of the way. They helped us navigate a difficult time and some tough choices for our precious friend, and we are grateful for them. We would definitely go back.”
“My old cat has been a patient of Dr. Emmons and her staff since 2021, and I can't recommend their practice highly enough. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind, intelligent, positive, patient, and ready to help. They truly love animals and make everyone's pet their top priority. My cat is very, very cranky and can be a handful during a vet's visit (even with Gabapentin), but this vet's office takes it all in stride and still has nice things to say about her. Their prices are fair and I really like that I can get my cat's prescription dry food directly through them. They often have sales so I can get this usually expensive cat food at a discount. They have welcomed a few new vets & staff members over the years, and clearly Dr. Emmons and team know how to find the best of the best to build out their team. When you walk into the building, you get the sense that their whole team genuinely likes working together and people are happy there. If you're looking for a vet in the Eliot/South Berwick area, this is the one for you!”

“This is the most incredible place for my bunnies Sherlock and Watson! Dr. Hale and the ENTIRE staff are so incredibly kind... to both furry friends and humans alike! I'm so thankful to them all for fitting us in a few months ago for emergency care when Watson needed help and no one was able to see him in my area (my regular vet had been away). Dr. Hale also performed surgery on Watson, and I've just brought both buns in for a regular checkup and a desperately needed nail trim for Sherlock!
I have to drive quite a long distance (almost 3 hours round trip) to get to Greenland, but it is absolutely worth the drive! Thank you ALL for your kindness and top notch care...we'll continue making the trip! Absolutely worth it!!!”

“Had a great experience here with our first visit last month. Our usual vet was booked out almost a month and we couldn't wait that long so we decided to give Central Park a call. Covid has thrown all sorts of weird and wacky new procedures our way but everyone here was great. I called to let them know I was there, they called back to get some info about my dog and then they came right out to the car to get her. After her visit, the vet called, he was SO nice and thoroughly explained what he thought was wrong and talked about the medicine he would send out with her. The price was almost MUCH better than any other vet I've been to in the area. Will definitely be switching both dogs to make this our permanent vet.”

“We took my appy Spud down for ongoing foot problems. He just kept getting abscesses. He has been nerved and there has just been no real soundness. We resorted to glue on shoes because of white line that was destroying his hoof wall. They took additional films, reviewed all of his prior records and it was determined that he has pedal osteitis. A farrier put klogg shoes on and doxy was prescribed. He is comfortable, and although I know we have a long road ahead of us, I know we'll get there. He is going back down in May for another set of shoes and xrays. To think this all started with a stick going up through his coffin bone in 2018. Thank you Dr Davis and your team for making my boy feel better.”
“My 18 year old cat, Lily, was having urinary issues. I called before they opened and promptly got a call back right after 8am. The staff and doctor couldn't be any nicer. Dr. Wyand even used a white board to explain Lily's condition. After an injection of antibiotic and pain meds to take home, we were on our way. Lily had hopped back in her carrier and the tech that gave her the shot even made it a point to take her out of the carrier so she wouldn't associate the shot with the carrier. How thoughtful is that! I've been using their services for years and won't ever change vets.”

“The staff is always kind and helpful and thorough with explanation when we have questions or concerns. My dog was very nervous the first time we dropped him off for his treatment but thereafter he was cool as a cucumber and totally comfortable and at ease with the entire process. He goes in there like a boss now and absolutely adores the nurses and Dr Kow!: ) This little guy is doing so well at nearly 16 years of age even with the complications that have brought us to Port City and given us hope and much more time than we would have ever had otherwise. Thank you to everyone involved in his care!”

“We arrived today with a cat. We received full, detailed service, in warm and loving hands. We were very impressed with the care and attitude towards us and the cat. We have only one complaint and that is regarding the very expensive price that includes the treatment provided. We understand that this is the case everywhere in the US and this is the norm, but it doesn't have to be this way. I recommend that others of course come to this hospital for the treatment of their pet, but only after obtaining supplementary medical insurance for animals that will cover and reimburse the cost of the treatments that are so expensive. This is very disappointing Because it puts you in a terrible dilemma that on the one hand we really want to treat and help our pet, on the other hand it's very, very expensive and it's a shame.”

“These folks took incredible care of my cherished senior cat when he got sick and was ultimately diagnosed with cancer. Urgent care and specialist care...plus understanding and love...for years.
Today I took another cat to them. A feral rescue that has been with me for 5 yrs. This gal had a nasty eye infection. I was lucky to be able handle her enough to get her in to this hospital. And I can't say more about how awesome this team did. From front desk to doctor. They all did so much to accommodate my cat's special needs...the vet performed most of the exam and treatment on the floor, so as to make my cat most comfortable. I wish this vet could be our GP.

“Extremely friendly staff! Every time I go you would think the check out people were best friends with everyone. They all seem knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their jobs. They offer to help on occasion but not in the excessive uncomfortable way that other retailers do. They also have a bin to donate supplies to a local animal charity program.”
