My dog loves to go to see everyone. In fact, my last 5 dogs have been to this practice and every one of them went in with tail wagging. Can't say enough good things about them. Wonderful, knowledgeable, gentle are just a few words out of the many to describe Dr. David and his staff. I highly recommend them

My dog LOVES going here and can never wait to get in the door which speaks volumes for her!!! She has such anxiety other places! They are great with her! So gentle and calm!! I love Dr. Harrington! He tells it how it really is and doesn't try to give or sell you things you don't really need. I won't bring my baby anywhere else!!!

This place does not care about their patients nor has the respect to communicate their high costs. When you call to complain the office manager did nothing for the staffs lack of communication and even when I said we wouldn't be back she still didn't care !!! We will take our business elsewhere.

Awesome and very nice people! Dr. K Connor is excellent and was calling us to make sure our puppy was feeling better. My pup is feeling much better now thanks to their knowledge and support. Couldn't ask for a better vet!

I don't write many reviews on yelp, but honestly these guys are so good, I felt I needed to. My wife and I have been seeing the team here for about 5 years even after we moved an hour away. We've been to plenty of vets before and after we moved and every time we keep coming back for their compassion, expertise, and respect for pets and people. Every time we call, they remember our pets names. When one of our dogs had some rare genetic disease, they were able to diagnose it when 3 other vets couldn't. And when we had hard decisions to make about treatment and care for our dogs, they were amazing helping us through the process. If you have a need for a vet, these guys are the very best we have found anywhere in between Rhode Island and Maine!

These people are awesome, Dr Kate Connor is the best, the staff are all very friendly, and will help you in whatever your pet needs. You will not be disappointed, they have been wonderful with my pets. I have a 16 yo dog and he has special needs, they are very attentive.

I keep finding friends who go to Dr. H even if they have to travel farther. This is the only vet that my male malinois ever liked. Somehow he knew that they were not afraid of him so he never growled or snapped as he had done at other vets. Recently the lives of two of my dogs were saved from critical situation by this awesome staff. Experienced with working dogs.

We have nothing but great things to say about the vets and staff at Animal Hospital of Barrington! We have been taking our German Shepherds there for more than ten years. The service has always been outstanding. Recently we had to take Ava for an emergency. The staff was awesome getting us in as soon as possible, they took the time to make sure we understood what was happening with Ava as well as what they were going to do for her. The surgery went very well, and the staff called first thing the next morning to check on her as well as answering all of our questions. They really put Ava first! They took care of everything making sure she had the best care, getting her right in on short notice. We would not think of taking her anywhere else.

This place is best! We have brought our pets here for the last 7+ years. They are caring, attentive and always provide the best possible care. I wouldn't think of bringing our pets anywhere else.

We just cannot say enough good things about The Animal Hospital of Barrington! We had to call them first thing this morning about our dog, Marley. They've seen Marley for check up visits before but this one was different. Marley looked like he was semi-paralyzed and we were scared to death. The staff member answering the phone was kind and caring and made sure we got the first appointment available today! We took Marley in to see Dr. Cristina Cameron (we usually see Dr. David Harriton) and she was already up to speed on his past care and ready to see him. She was so careful and gentle with him, talking to him quietly and giving him a kiss on the head while examining him and asking us questions. She treated him like he was her only patient today. Turns out he has a hurt disc in his back. She went over the options for care and gave us her recommendations - which was the simplest and least expensive treatment. That's important since we don't have pet health insurance and pet treatments cost as much as the human ones! For a rating we'd go 6 stars if that was actually available! If you live in the area, take your pets to Barrington. No other vet in the area compares to their care and compassion.
