Finally found a Christian church near our place (RCF) Reno Christian Fellowship, Dropped the kids to their sunday school classrooms. We are grateful to God for leading us to this wonderful Christian church. They are so welcoming to us, considering we are just new to this place. After the service, we had lunch at Mr. Crab and then went to North Valley park with the kids. This is such a wonderful day! Thank you Jesus

I went to the sunday service at 9am. The live music was amazing and the pastor talked about being generous with your resources and finances to be a positive force in the world. Thank you for having me

RCF is so warm and welcoming! We are greeted at the door every week by friendly members of the congregation. The kids ministry there has a fabulous program that has my son excited for church on Sundays. It’s a great place for the whole family to build a relationship with God!

RCF is home and I love my church family. The staff, especially our new Pastor Nic, has brought a breathe of fresh air to our community. If you’re looking for a place to belong, to be heard and to be loved, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been attending RCF off and on for 20+ years. The Chief Pastor, Brent Brooks is smitten with God and his sermons are from his HEART...for God KNOWS our hearts and i base everything on action...yet, I know we are human beings incapable of perfection (thank goodness...too much work). His personal testimony is riveting! The "giving financial" boxes are in the lobby, not in the sanctuary where we WORSHIP and HONOR the One and Only who set us free from God's wrath. The worship team is amazing, especially Kelly Drake's voice. The Family Pastor, Robbie Bryan is wonderful too. During one of his sermons, he said, "Serving in church is a combat sport." I giggled in my head because it is so true, for we are mere human beings who "sit" on ego, pride, selfishness/meism, competition, jealousy, coveting, relationship conflicts, unforgiveness/resentment, etc. for what seems like an eternity. Oh God...help us all! :) REPENTANCE IS KEY! However, WE CAN CHOOSE to surrender to God and live out Ephesians 5 daily and at times every second of the day!:):) He KNOWS how fragile man is!:) I know...easier said than done, but the alternative is darkness. Yuk! This past Sunday 3/3/2019, there was a new pastor preaching (Pastor Brent was on leave for minor knee surgery), Brandon Evans; his sermon was predominantly on Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." He stated that these words were a paradox an oxymoron, if you will and he is correct. Because to mourn and to trust that God has my back in my darkest moments... satisfies my soul. The infallible/inerrant word of God is what I choose to repose in despite the challenges each one of us (yes, I am speaking to planet earth) battle everyday. I love the slogan, "No perfect people allowed in church..." but may I add to it, "The church welcomes "perfect" and imperfect people, for Christ died for the sick, not the "well." Blessings! RCF is a wonderful and welcoming church. In addition to Sunday services there are community groups, a women's Bible Study, and activities for kids and teens. If you're new to Reno, come and visit Reno Christian Fellowship!
