High five to this hospital (doctor, nurse, front desk) thank you and appreciate all of you for being so passionate with your work you do.
Prices are reasonable in my opinion, they do not over medicate, the hardest part is that you cannot be inside the room when they examine your pet- so you just have to let that go and be fine with that.
Our first visit was a checkup when we moved here few yrs ago and Dr. Mauro contacted our previous vet in another state to learn my pet’s history first.
Very thorough!
Later (now, over a yr ago) she found a tumor which was luckily benign (but spleen had to be removed).
If tumor was not found and removed on time possibly my pet would have had an internal bleeding as it grew.
Dr. Mauro and team saved my pet so she has our trust since.
I do have the confidence with a good heart to recommend this place for your pet.

We've had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mauro. Thank you for becoming our new, closer vet and for taking such excellent care of our fur baby during his time of need. Your expertise and thoroughness have been invaluable. Seeking a second opinion led us to you, and we're so grateful it did. Our fur baby was had a growing mass that required removal for him to live his best life and had his ups and downs with some sickness before then. I had good experiences with Haven Animal until it came time to put down my senior dog, Lily. While I was on the floor with my dog and family, and Lily was in the process of being sedated, the veterinarian turned to my friend who was filming my dog’s final moments (was not recording the vet at all) and interrupted the procedure. The vet started berating my friend and stated she would not have allowed my friend to record had she caught it earlier. I was crying, devastated at the loss of my childhood pet, but the vet decided the attention needed to be on her. I left this already saddening experience infuriated, I’ve truly never seen someone so heartless and unprofessional. I will never bring a pet back to Haven Animal ever again.

The best veterinarian in the city. Dr Mauro has been with my Sheltie babies since they were 8 weeks old until their death. She is compassionate, empathetic and professional. Her passion for animals is unlike any other. Her staff is amazing and has been a consistent source of care for my lil babies. I’d recommend her office to anyone. I was new to the city with new puppies and she always treated us like family. She was there as my children grew with my fur babies and I will forever be grateful for her.

This vet isn’t like my regular vet that I used to go to, they take my dog to the back show me emails and assess him from there. The vet comes out to the lobby and talk to you about options and what the dog is going through. Very nice. Very kind. Customer service skills on point. Office ladies are kind and helpful. I am thankful to have found a new vet close to my house.

Dr. Mauro and her staff took such great care of our dogs when we lived in Las Vegas over 8 years ago. We have since moved across the country and have never met a better veterinarian. We will always be grateful for the kind, caring and compassionate care she and staff gave our beloved Roxy and Riddick.

Always so kind and treats my little Chico so well. He actually doesn’t even shake, lol. Always is thorough, and will suggest treatments and do a referral if needed. Always calls the next day to check on their patients. Thank you Dr. Mauro and staff. You are appreciated
