Good location on strip. The 1/3 shower wall was amusing. The barn door either covered the closet or the bathroom, so if someone was in closet. You were sort of trapped in bathroom. The beds are on a platform. Watch your knees.. Room was clean and we slept ok on beds. No microwave, refrigerator or coffee maker. But in casino area there are two Starbucks and several eating places. Luggage valet gentlemen were professional and friendly. Would stay here again.
Rooms: Two double beds, desk, small sitting area and makeup vanity. Hairdryer and iron and ironing board.
Safety: Safe in room.
Food and drinks: We ate the 5 course meal at Ramsay's Kitchen, it was wonderful. Thank you Marlene for explaining our meal and the great service!

I wanted Vegas on a budget, but I also didn’t want to stay in a dump. My biggest requirement was staying right on the strip, and this is right in the centre of it all.
Vegas handles thousands of people coming in and out on the daily. It’s a well oiled machine. Check in service was efficient, and I wasn’t expecting a ton of toadying from a budget hotel. They got me through the process quickly, and got me on my way. Fantastic.
My hotel room had no fridge, no bath, and no robe. But I’m right on the strip, so I’m eating out. I don’t need a fridge. There is a $3.49 foot long hotdog place in a short walk, a McDonalds, White Castle, and other restaurants. If you’re on a budget, there are some good food options around.
The pool is only opened Friday to Sunday, and I was disappointed because I wanted the swimming experience. I was here over Halloween weekend, and it’s not swimming weather. It would have been nice to have the option, but it ended up not really being on the things I wish I did. If you want the swimming experience, look for a spa nearby with a pool that also offers breakfast and other amenities with entry fee.
I left the do not disturb sign/occupied on my door if I didn’t want my room being cleaned, and it was fine. I wish I didn’t bring my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash because the ones supplied by the hotel are really nice. They are in a dispenser on the wall, so if you have long hair you don’t have to worry about going through little bottles super fast.
My room had a balcony that looked over the industrial HVAC and pipes on the roof, and my little Juliet balcony door didn’t open. But I’m on the strip, and I can walk up the street if I want to people watch and have a gorgeous view.
And finally, the best part: the mattress. I’ve been in a fair number of budget hotels, motels, and very few decent hotels. The mattress here is by far the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. After walking the strip all day, doing tours, or even just hunched over a slot machine all day, the treat of having insanely comfortable mattresses to sleep on can’t be over stated. Yes this hotel is considered budget on the strip, but they did not cheap out on the mattresses.
So yes, this is still budget. It’s not going to be some amazing experience, with huge fully loaded rooms with amenities, pool access and the like. But you’re right in the heart of the strip. The location is amazing. Then when you’re tired at the end of the night, the only thing that truly matters is the sleep you’re going to get. And the sleep here is amazing.
Rooms: View was decent, other than the HVAC right below my window. The rooms had the basics, so no robe, or fridge, microwave or coffee maker. The bathroom had a shower, but not a tub. So no soaking. Had a really nice vanity to use for makeup and prep. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were really nice quality. The mattress was super soft and comfortable. Had a great night sleep.
No evidence of bed bugs either! Did a thorough check, all was pristine!
Nearby activities: You’re right in the heart of the strip. Maybe a 5 minute walk north to the Venetian and Tropical Island. If you go south, you’re almost right next to planet Hollywood, Paris, and the Bellagio. Everything is in walking distance.
Safety: Inside the hotel I had no worries about my safety. I was a solo female guest, so that was a concern. But I could always see security walking around the floor and I was never bothered by any of the guests.

“Terrible Experience at Harrah’s Las Vegas – Avoid at All Costs!”
My stay at Harrah’s Las Vegas was an absolute disaster. After checking in, I returned to my room only hours later to find my bag stolen, containing valuables, personal items, electronics, and more. The response from hotel staff? Completely dismissive, treating my report as an inconvenience and offering no help. A security officer identified tampering on my room’s door lock, strongly suggesting an inside job. Despite this alarming evidence, Harrah’s management refused to investigate on a fast pace. Shockingly, there were no security cameras on my floor – in a high-profile hotel on the Las Vegas Strip! I was given a “risk management” contact number that goes unanswered, and staff, including housekeeping and supervisors, showed a disturbing lack of accountability. Harrah’s staff were rude, unresponsive, and suspiciously evasive. It felt as though there was a theft nexus involving management, and housekeeping, all working together to cover up these thefts. I had to go down to the front desk repeatedly because they wouldn’t send anyone to assist in my room – a clear disregard for guest service and safety. If you value your belongings and peace of mind, do not stay at Harrah’s Las Vegas. This hotel’s disregard for security and customer service ruined my trip, and their uncooperative behavior raises serious concerns about an internal theft nexus. Choose another hotel in Vegas – Harrah’s is not worth the risk.

The first desk was great, but then it went all down hill then. First issue the room I book they didn't give us. Gave us two twin beds and one of the beds had a sink in it. Second issue we had no house keeping came clean our room. I had to call to get towels and let them know I requested housekeeping but still never got it the three days we were there. And the last thing is there was not enough restaurants for eating like the other hotels. Overall we enjoyed Las Vegas but we will not be going back to Harrah's.

Terrible experience at Harrah’s Las Vegas. The room’s air conditioner wasn’t working, and it was cold outside — we had to spend the night in an unheated room. We were fined $250 for having a cat, even though the website stated the hotel is pet-friendly without specifying that only dogs are allowed. Very disappointed with the service and conditions

We are really disappointed since July that we went no one answered us. Several emails sent because we were stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes and frankly we didn't even have a gesture at all. No returns, everyone without a card. It's really nonsense.

This place has really went down hill. The room is ok but not much rest can be done with all the commotion in the halls at night and the stink of dope is ridiculous, last time we will be staying here.
Noteworthy details: Dont expect any help from customer service in this hotel. The people are only here for the paycheck, not to help the customer that stays here.

Would give four stars but the place is aging. Great bathroom with shower. Parking for $20.00 and a lack of directional signs to parking area garage was a bit frustrating for me to navigate.

We were transferred to this hotel from another hotel. After we had to wait 45 minutes at the other hotel, we had to wait another 30 minutes here to check-in. We weren't even greeted at reception but were immediately asked for our ID. This has absolutely nothing to do with hospitality and a nice greeting is probably the very least you can expect as a guest.

Room was good. Good location close to lots of restaurants.
Would have given a higher rating, but they do not send you your receipt after you check out. You call and it takes quite a while to get it. Why make the expense report so difficult...??
