I took my century arms Draco here a few months ago. Told me that they would take a look next week. It was a month and half before they took a look. 2 months pass and I had to go get it because they didn’t seem to care to fix it. I told the guy some info on what might be the problem. Just being busy I didn’t wanna do it myself because I was in the middle of moving but I spent 40 dollars on a trigger group replacement and installed all parts in 10 mins and it’s fixed firing normal. I know they can get busy but 2 months for a 10 minute fix? Come on that was easy money in their pockets. Just need to be honest up front and say you’re not going to be able to get to it no time soon. They seem to be decent people though but also being closed during your business hours probably doesn’t help with being behind..

These aren’t good people. I remember about 5 years ago I brought an AR pistol to these gentlemen because the hand guard wasn’t aligned with the upper receiver. Me being a novice I didn’t know any better at the time but all I had to do was loosen the screws on the hanguard and adjust it as needed. They could have easily told me to go home and do so but instead they decided to make it seem like something was wrong and they took my firearm in for 72 hours and charged me $100. It was definitely my own fault for not being more diligent on researching the issue; as I mentioned before I was very new to firearms at the time. Looking back now as my knowledge has grown exponentially on the topic, I’ve realized these gentlemen charged me $100 to loosen a couple screws and kept my firearm for an unneeded amount of time. Again, I understand this is my own fault but let it be known these people will take advantage of you given the chance.

What a great experience I had! I came in to fix a problem with an old Browning BPS Shotgun..
Chris took great care of the shotgun and then I had a great conversation with him and his awesome wife about classic firearms and life experiences for the next 45 minutes. Chris reminds me of when I used to visit and talk with my ole friend and legendary 1911 gunsmith, Jim Hoag. Prices for Chris' expertise and gunsmithing are very reasonable.

They over torqued the screws on my pistol's mounting plate and stripped the threads. The first time I went to shoot it, my red dot came loose and I cannot tighten it down. I now need to have the plate replaced.

I want to thank Mr. Chris and his wife for doing a good job on my 1911 prodigy ds 5 inch. Deep polishing and fine tune trigger Job. Parts that I used EGW lightened trigger set and Atlas gun work trigger curved medium. Mr. Chris for me is a honest person, Very nice and knowledgeable to talk to. Charge you with a very reasonable fair price. This is based on my own experience today 4/10/24. To all Prodigy ds owners out there having problems double fire or jamming check him out. Definitely coming back.

Thank you Chris! It was a pleasure to deal with such nice guys like Chris and his wife. They replaced a CZ Scorpion trigger, dealing with a very damaged screw. The price was more then decent for the work done. Definitely, I will count on their skills for futher repairs on my guns.

I have no idea how this gunsmith is still in business. Every time I’ve needed Gunsmithing they refer me to Wild West Guns. Save yourself the trip and use another shop.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not take your weapon here if you care about it.

I would give them a NEGATIVE 1if I could. Chris said the part needed was hard to find so I went home and googled the part and found it costs around $1.50. Midwest, Wilson Combat, Fusion and every other 1911 gunsmith and parts dealer had the part in stock. I ordered 2 Thumb Safety Lock Plunge Pin just in case it ever happened again, I would have a spare in my toolbox. I brought the part to Chris, who said "gimme a couple days". I forgot all about it, called a month and a half later and the usual unfriendly "whats your ticket number" response from Chris's wife? I didn't have the ticket with me but how many Chrome 45, 1911's could they possibly have in repair that needed a Thumb Safety Lock Plunge Pin?. She finally finds my repair ticket and I go and get the gun, bring it home and put it the safe. Today, 11/17/23 , I show a friend of mine the firearm, rack the slide and the damn thing doesn't work. Remembering I bought an extra part just in case, i watched a you tube video and fixed the firearm in less than 5 minutes. This isn't the only time something so simple has happened. I'll never go in their store again or ever give them a chance to repair a Daisy BB gun let alone a $2000 collectors item. I don't know how they stay in business!!
