Lack of experienced help and car knowledge. They have the items one would want on the wall our back in the storage area and don't know what they have. Example I went in for a basic very basic metal brake line a 3/16th standard thread. Every other car parts place has it hanging from the wall in the back. It is not in the computer for one to ask what year and model. But every time the first thing out of their mouth is what year and model and not all car parts are listed like that. Items like that can be used in many different ways, so it not always assigned to a car and year and make. Yet they hired at this Auto Zone none car guys and are clueless. and will get rude what you try to educate them. I had it done to me and I watched them do it to others. Once I asked for 3 feet of 5/16th fuel lines. Its on a a roll in the back and training should be the key when hiring people. You are losing money. The counter guy wanted the year and car. Damn there is modified and hot rods and other mechanical devises that use 5/16 fuel line. The counter guy insisted he could only help me if it was in the computer. A car guy reading this is shaking his head in disgust.

My day had been going pretty rough. But the customer service from Alan G, at Ft Apache and Sahara was perfect. He is eloquent... Knowledgeable, without making you feel ignorant. Just a refreshing experience.

Went in yesterday because my car wouldn’t start. They determined that my battery died. Chris was so helpful, he even installed it for me in my Subaru.
He also helped me pick out my windshield wipers since they’re really long. So grateful for the service I got!

Car battery died in this 115-degree Las Vegas heat. Went to AutoZone this morning around 830am. They checked my battery and determined I needed a new one. My warranty ended in January.
The same car battery I previously bought was now $40+ more expensive. I have been going to this location since I moved here 17 years ago. I also get a "courtesy discount of 10%" for being a CCSD teacher (or at least I always used to).
Today I asked for a discount, especially because of the increased cost in the battery. The younger worker was going to do it, but then he had to ask his supervisor. The supervisor was incredibly rude!
In a snide tone, he asked me if I was a first responder or in the military. I said, "No, I am a teacher." He said, "It's only for military or first responders." I told him I've always gotten it and had my receipt from last time as proof. He again restated what he said, not saying sorry, acknowledging I got it last time or anything. He needs to be retrained on customer service. So rude.
The younger worker at least felt bad when he was installing the new battery. I still tipped him even though I was frustrated and went on my way.
***Btw, my friend was at another AutoZone two days ago, and they gave her a 10% teacher discount and thanked her for being a teacher too!

DONT go to this auto zone. I went in because I needed a battery warranty replacement. My car wouldn't start so I got a jump start and drove it many from work at north lasvegas and brought the battery in for a replacement. The entitled worker checked the battery and said it fully charged. Flipped his meter around and said full charge. I said yes cuz I just drove it from north LV, it prob fully charged now. But I had to jump it. He responded with "it's fully charged" and just stared at me. I asked so you won't replace my battery. He again just said fully charged. So I said I'll go to another auto zone. He said they will do the same. We'll to the entitled large mexican worker. I DID GET A BATTERY WARRANTY EXCHANGED AT ANOTHER AUTO ZONE.
