“Honestly, this is the absolute best pawn shop for customer service and most bang for whatever you are there for.... except....On certain days when one particular manager is working. If you walk in and it feels like a ghost town with no customers and three employees sitting in silence... no laughing or joking or greeting.... you know he is there.... turn around and don't waste your time.This particular manager with his over inflated man balls is self-centered, thinks women are idiots and is a self proclaimed genuis of everything.Examples:More than once, he has talked down to me and rushed me out the door, not letting me get a word of negotiation out. He constantly hovers and will literally in front of the potential buyer or seller take the item right out of the staffs hands especially new ones, then takes over what they are doing even if it was going great. He loves to point out the mistakes he thinks he sees to put the employee down in front of everyone. Then he acts very annoyed and changes the price to what he thinks. This is when his arrogance and big head are most present, especially when the customer is a female or the employee is. When it's a woman, the more sarcasm and no time for you attitude is out. Even when the employees try to say something to him to help me, the customer, to be heard, they are quickly shut down as well and told it doesn't matter it's his price or no price. He doesn't even realize who his frequent customers are and pays no attention to the account that would tell him.I have also seen many times him not even try to look up an item he doesn't know about or is not in the system. Instead, once again, he makes his low price up and remember no negotiations or questions were allowed. Did i mention how low his dang prices are for selling? It's robbery! I have never seen him give a fair and honest price or allow some back and forth negotiations. He would rather take advantage of those who could be in crisis, financially drained, and/or having the worst day ever.My final straw to write this was him saying to my face on a recent visit:"Take this price or go somewhere else. I am not answering any questions about the item, and I don't want to hear about what else you have that was appraised the other day here. Here, take your item you can leave. No questions. "While i am trying to learn and educate myself and find a solution, i am pushed away from the counter to the door like dirt on his shoes that should not be in his store.Whereas on the other team, even if they only kind of remember you or maybe they don't, you'd never know. When they see you, they treat you like you've walked in their door a hundred times, especially when the account confirms it. This makes all the difference in setting a foundation for a sale or buy and creating those long-term consumers. Respect, patience, understanding, and willingness to communicate are vital skills to have in this field.It makes me wonder why performance is not more closely evaluated. I guarantee it would be night and day on which team is doing the most business depending on manager. But I am sure hiding behind the weekday vs. weekend excuse lets him slide on by.So basically, go at your own risk. Try the weekends.Just remember it doesn't take a lot to be an overall good human to others. I hope one day this manager looks in the mirror and sees all his arrogance was not worth the karma and loneliness it'll bring eventually.”

“So I just wanted to give this particular location another SHOT OUT!!! My fam and I have been Loooooong time EZ customers especially at this store because it's literally down the street from my house!! I have THOUSANDS of Dollars of items at this store and CHRIS the Store Man is the ISH ya'll!!! He is ALWAYS smiling and kind and always does his best to help you out. Being in this time that we live in my family and I have been going through some difficult stuff, as of recently My oldest daughter goes to UNLV and was apart of the tragedy that took place there last week , I have had some items due but being this has been such a difficult situation for our family Chris was so accommodating to us and allowing us a little more time to pay on our stuff which is SOOO APPRECIATEDHe Truly is such a SWEET MAN!! And ALWAYS goes Above and beyond to help us and just a FYI IT NEVER goes UNNOTICED!!! Truthfully speaking everyone that works there is SUPER DOPE!!! Carlos is a GEM!! As well as Ceasar, Beth is a Sweet heart as well and... last but NOT LEAST... “I go to this 7- eleven all the time. But today I wasn't impressed. My mom and I went there to get some nachos and a hotdog and a couple of drinks and we went to check out and the clerk asked if we wanted a bag and we said yes. He take the bag opens it and expected US to put our items in. As I'm struggling to put the stuff in the bag so the nachos doesn't spill anything he just watches. Doesn't bother to help. But then again a part of his job is to put the stuff in the bag for us which he failed to do.”

“Excellent customer service!We purchased a bike for my 3 year old grandson from Santa. On December 23 rd when assembling the bike we found out that it was defective. We drove to three different Target stores that supposedly had the bike in stock according to the app-none of them had the bike. We then tried calling stores that had the bike according to the app. Customer service at every store just disconnected the call. Until we called this location that is. They not only took my call, they went to the back to confirm that it was in stock and then held it at customer service until we could drive 30 minutes to get there.Customer service saved Christmas for us!”

“I'm happy to report that I had a very productive and successful trip here today.My dad decided that it was time to upgrade his phone, so I initially took him to the Verizon on Lake Mead in Henderson earlier in the afternoon. They were a Victra store, which is an authorized retailer. More to the point, they only had one employee trying to juggle a gaggle of customers.We then opted to try this store, which we'd passed multiple times going down Sunset over the years. It's next to Harold's Chicken, which was formerly PizzaRev. Inside, it's more official-looking and had 5 or 6 employees working, with one of them named Jake warmly greeting us.We stated our intent to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S22 because there was a $350 discount available for it on that phone line. After accessing the account to find the offer, he told us that they only had the purple color of that phone in stock, which we okayed. He informed us that it would cost $9.72 monthly, which I did have to clarify was for 36 months and then calculated out to equal the correct post-discount price. He also charged us an upfront cost which comprised the sales tax (pre-discount) and a $35 upgrade fee, and he provided us with the printed receipt.Now for the buried lede: after he activated the new phone, we also requested that he transfer contacts/photos/texts/etc. from the old phone to the new phone. Jake was extremely helpful working the old phone screen, which had suffered water damage to the screen. However, he was able to play around with it and get the transfer going via the Samsung Smart Switch app. He was going to charge $30 for the service, but he ended up waiving the fee because the transfer was taking a long time and the store was closing soon. This felt like an above and beyond moment.He also helped us with some account changes. We inquired about the unlimited data plans and decided to upgrade to the least costly "Unlimited Welcome" plan after he said that it'd only be $5 more monthly. We also asked where the paperless billing statements were being sent. He was able to show us the email address, as well as change the email address to a preferred alternative.Overall, it was a far better experience than we'd feared. I'm so glad that there's a viable in-person Verizon option considering that Costco has abandoned their old wireless service third-party retailer and the local warehouse only offers T-Mobile.”

“This store location is very close to my home and it has been extremely convenient to my family on many occasions,thank you for supporting the area, and providing a solid service to your customers!My one and only issue at this location thus far, is that the slurpee and frozen lemonade machines are usually out of service, and they will often times be completely empty of product.I used to take my kids here for slurpees, but now we have had to find a different 7-Eleven location just to use the working slurpee machines.Oh well, I still go here very often, despite the slurpee issues, and I will continue to do so as far as I see it, convenience is key, thank you again for the convenience you provide every day!-William Hampton”

“I stopped in for 1 reason and 1 reason only. COFFEE!!! Not just ur regular coffee, but the ESPRESSO coffee that you pay $3.25 for an iced 3 (three) shots espresso at Starbucks. I paid $1.69 for 4 (four) espresso shots on ice at this 7-11. I could've filled the cup to the top, but I grew up being taught to take only what you need. I'm 71 years young and I walk every day either on a treadmill or outdoors. After my walk, I use the fitness center to lift weights. In order for me to do all this, I need the umf. The espresso does the job quite well. BTW, not all 7-11 have this particular coffee dispensing machine. So kudos to this 7-11. I'll be stopping in for my get-up and go energy drink before I walk my 3+ miles around Cadence Central Park.”
