I got my wife’s wedding ring from Joyce’s, and I couldn’t have been happier. It became a journey but they helped me from beginning to end to make a ring that receives compliments well over 5 years later! Amazing service and support!

Nice to have a go to small business in town! Something as simple as a watch battery replacement or a go to spot for special gift ideas. I want to encourage others to do the same

We had two rings resized. The work was uneven and thin. We were not happy with the work at all especially for the price that we paid.

We had two rings resized. The work was thin and uneven and we were not happy with the quality of the resize at all. We feel that we paid too much for the quality of the work.

I'm a local here in Gardnerville for 20 years. My wedding ring was getting tight on my finger. I had my ring resized at Joyce's. They charged me $250. I was grossly overcharged and will NEVER go there again and advising you and others to do the same!!!Response to Joyce:Thank you for responding I appreciate that. But for me it was an estimate. I never got that phone call for approval. And now I have a ring that has one side thinner than the rest of the ring. And lines are warped on band now. For $250 you would expect the best. Please see pics provided to understand what I went through.

My family has been shopping at Joyce's for at least 30 years. We have always received EXCEPTIONAL service from each and every dedicated employee at Joyce's. I personally have purchased many pieces of jewelry and had many other pieces resized, re-shaped, re-envisioned and custom made. I've always been more than pleased at the quality of work, and never had a complaint. Though I'm sure if something wasn't to my liking, Norie and her team would make it right! Additionally, the shop is decorated for each holiday/season where you can find beautiful home decor. If I could give Joyce's Fine Jewelry more stars, I would. They certainly have earned it in the many, many decades that they have served Carson Valley!!!

Without positive proof I don't know if it is legal to say what I am about to say. I had brought quite a bit of Jewelery to this establishment to get fixed. My repairs were very sub par. They exchanged a diamond in a pinky ring I have. The diamond did not match the rest of the other diamonds. It actually looks black. And all the other items they fixed were sub par. I now have to take my Jewelery and have it fixed correctly. While I was showing my jewelry and talking about how it was repaired, she asked me if I wanted my diamond engagement cleaned. She brought it to the back and cleaned my ring and stole the diamond I had in there, she replaced it with some other diamond. Yes, I said that she stole my diamond right out of my ring. Do not go here. They are thieves! I am completely devastated.

OH my gosh! I love Joyce's. They have helped me on numerous occasions with my jewelry repair and purchases. All of the ladies that work there are pleasant and very well educated on the services they provide, and always do what they can to help make my experience great. They have been great with helping me select items for my wife and "spot on" too. I have lived on the east and west coasts, Canada to Texas and would put them into the top ten, no make it top five. I will be driving from AZ so I don't miss out on their service and great buys. PS: My very favorite time of the year at Joyce's is Christmas, and if you haven't been yet you should! It is the finest store in the Carson Valley.

This store has been in business 43 years and has always been customer service oriented. They have exquisite jewelry and gifts. The ladies who assist you are genuine and helpful. I wish I could give Joyce's a ten star rating!!

If I could give a negative star a would. If you walk in this is clearly some husbands wife's hobby or just keeps it open for something to do. You will never find customers in while in and when I have tried two have such heirs about them and nan did they judge a book by it cover. They are snobs selling cheep mostly fake jewelry. I'm getting married and drove over an hour and 29 min asked them if we could pick up one if the few real pieces they have and let us in only9 min Afyer when their clearly in there. Of coarse when we were buying inside they would stay an hour later but to accommodate my wedding they would even take cash with keep the extra. Their customer service just stinks. I'm from eat coast small towns and lived in the new east, what is with these snobby old ladies in the in the west. Me and my husband who is a priest!!! Point in fact have met truly about 2 people that had any sort of integrity or compassion or character. These city is frocked with dirty cops that have speed traps everywhere. They pull you over at 4/5 over this state is bankrupt and my family moved here about 30 years ago. The same strip building 3 stories in both Minden and Gardnerville are empty!!! The salons I've tried them all rude snobby. Nails if you actually ask for a shape they will send you somewhere else what is with this place. The Christian spirit is gone and it's not ca or Bay Area it's old boob that have lived here to long. I was in a major casino and right in front of security I was meddled a rufie!! I would never stay at the cvi, I should know family plays there since forever. No one wins. Ever. At one point they really tried making this town cute. But all music and home phases bankruptcies like all this running strip malls around it and markets. There is so much on foreclosure you'd think these people would be desperate for some one to come in and spend money. There another place that does nearly and watch repair in town. He's busy but does a great job! We paid for a tons of medals and ales and chains all of it turned out so tacky. Even my sterling silver medals turned out bad. The ring they fuzed were actually all lopsided and vent line we wouldn't notice. Try other guy or Carson city. They ladies didn't cared we were in a wreck and flipped out jeeep 3 times and that's what kept us from coming in late to pick up what they did t make. Still didn't care. Lol they just looked at us begging to come in before our ceremony with cash 7 min past till they just kept waving there arms like they were so freaking pissed.. sad the people are truly just so pitiful. I guess they must have hard lives or are just bitter I dunno. But I can't wait to get back to Midwest and south or even la where I'm from. People are actually kind. Stereotypes aren't true. My family have been here over 30 years and god knows why. Don't come here your businesses will fail almost 100% guaranteed and definitely you will find yourself in Reno thinking that you've landed and herself it's like Solomon tomorrow is literally the second city with a huge storm problem I don't even have words for it I should be dad or been kidnapped and sold and the sex slave trade if my husband had rescued me and this was in a massive expensive nice casino the only nice casino in Reno do you want to come up tile is a place to go go to North Shore. It's all drug attic's chicks with booties and sell sure situated that kind of thing cheers

Came in here last December looking for some jewelry for an Xmas present. Despite the fact, that I came in wearing close to $25k worth of MY personal jewelry (which should be a testament that I LOVE it) I wasn't even so much as greeted upon entering. There was a woman at the counter helping a customer (which I COMPLETELY understand) and 2 more at the end of the store, 1 talking to another customer, but I just standing there. I came in the adjacent door to the street, walked up the entire counter-side, to the end of the store (which wasn't big at ALL) and back again, intermittently stopping to browse their inventory, which was VERY limited), without so much as a "hey". I'll never go there again, because I don't feel welcomed, and their selection sucks. I went online to and dropped $8k on a diamond Cuban instead.

I took 3 rings into Joyce's to be repaired. The ladies working there were so sweet and professional! I loved the store also, the Christmas decor is gorgeous!! One of my rings they cleaned and repaired right then and didn't charge me because it was so easy. The other 2 I left for them to repair. I was expecting it to cost a pretty penny but I got a call today and the ring that needed the most work was only going to cost me $70! I'm beyond thrilled to have found a great jewelry store that doesn't cost and arm and a leg to get something fixed! One store in Reno wanted $500 to fix two prongs on my wedding ring! I will be doing all my jewelry business at this tore from now on! Thanks Joyce's!!
