I have always wanted to operate a long arm. I had my chance when I met Josh as I was purchasing fabric. This summer I signed up for my long arm certification. It was so much fun. I am hooked. In total I have quilted 7 quilts at the store. Josh is so much help. I can't wait to make more quilt tops to go back and try more patterns.

Josh made my quilt dreams come true! He made a beautiful t shirt quilt for my family. The t shirts belonged to my late grandfather and I have been sitting with them for 5 years now with the intention of making the quilt myself, however it was just too emotional for me. I entrusted these beloved t shirts with Josh and he put so much love and care throughout the collaboration process and in the making of the quilt. My siblings and I gifted the quilt to my mom for Christmas and she was in tears. This will always be a meaningful treasure in my family. Thank you Out of My Mind Design for making this beautiful momento for us!

I had an incredible experience here. They reupholstered my cherished, handed-down dining room chairs that were worn from a literal lifetime of use. The wall-to-wall fabric selection is impressive, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. The owners are not only accommodating but also genuinely kind. What's more, their prices are very reasonable. I drove to 3 different upholstery places and chose these guys. I was so thrilled with them that I paid 10% extra. Money certainly talks, but so does the exceptional service and talent at this place. I highly recommend this gem of a fabric store for anyone seeking top-notch upholstery work and a warm, friendly atmosphere!This is another reason they have 5 stars.

While visiting in Lake Tahoe I am working on drawstrings bags to donate to Days for Girls. I must have been overly ambitious because I ran out of fabric. Thank goodness for this cute shop! The nicest people and I found just what I was looking for. I’ll be back!

My Grandmother and I both sew. My grandmother is a quilter and I sew mainly clothing. We always find what we need and then some. My grandmother needed help figuring out how much fabric it would take to make a denim bed spread and Josh was more than willing to help her figure it out and get her the fabric she was looking for. I always have luck finding fun fabric for projects and their selection of trims is particularly appealing. I have also spent time in the shop digging through their button bin finding treasures.

I was gifted an antique rocking chair and needed the cushion recovered. The amazing staff not only helped me with exact fabric measurements (yes, they are math whizzes), but for a very reasonable price they sewed the cushion cover for me! And I LOVE their batik fabric collection.

This has been my Go To store for fabric, notions, etc since they opened. Fabric is quality well priced and the belting prices you can not beat. Staff is always helpful along with the cutiest “little” helpers. Love seeing their little doxies.
