Great history great museum. It would take all day to see it all.

Excellent state museum. I've visited Carson City at least a dozen times, and this was my first visit to this museum. Exhibits are well laid out, and there's even a geology section. The price is right and they've got just about something for everyone.

Really well done presentation of everything about Nevada and the mint that’s important.
Housed in the U.S. Branch Mint at Carson City, the Nevada State Museum preserves and shares Nevada’s storied past, spanning eons-old geology, our prehistoric animalian neighbors, American Indian culture, the glory days of mining, Western settlement, and beyond.
