Just came out of the Lowe's in Carson City. I was looking for prices on pavers. I asked the employee for a price check. He literally looked at me and said no. Ok then, walked out, will never be back. And I will share my experience from now on.

I traveled approx. 75 miles today to get to Lowe's, my intention was to purchase a garage storage cabinet. Once we located them in Aisle 30 there was many to choose from. We were initially greeted by an employee and he did assist with helping get the doors open on one of the display models so I could look inside at the shelving. he offered to assist if I decided to purchase and told me he wouldn't be far away, and he went on his way. after looking over the selection for several minutes I decided to purchase one. I then went on the hunt to find someone to help get the one I wanted to purchase and I was unable to find anyone, so I returned to the cabinets where my wife was waiting for me, she then went in search of someone to help and was able to find three different people who advised they would find someone to help. we did hear an announcement for customer assistance to the storage cabinets. After approx 10 minutes of waiting for someone to show up we decided to leave without making the purchase. this is the first time that I had this experience at this particular Lowes, I also had the same experience at Lowe's in Fernley Nevada about 2 years prior with a different product that required assistance. I am just a small fish in a big pond and the money I was going to spend will not be missed at Lowe's, but you must believe this small fish has a big mouth and I encounter 75-80 people everyday and will be sure to tell this story to anyone that will listen. Good job Lowe's.

Service in the front of the store is great but getting assistance in the back department leaves much to be desired. We typically have to chase someone down. In most cases if I can't preorder, I'll go elsewhere.

I applied and interviewed with this store twice for different positions and was denied employment. Bear in mind I worked for the company at a Lowe's in CA and left on rehirable term. This store would rather hire people who haven't worked with the company versus someone who has. I would recommend applying to Meeks or Home Depot instead.

Lowe's online ordering is a farce. Do not waste your time or money. They can arbitrarily change the delivery date, and you are better off ordering directly from the manufacturer. You can not cancel the order until they attempt to deliver, hence tying up your money to keep you from going elsewhere.

Garbage delivery department. There is no communication, and the communication they do provide is often incorrect or misleading. The delivery supervisor is possibly the least help person at Lowes. Their whole department does not accept the fact that their department is ran inefficiently and places the blame for their incompetence on the customer. I had to cancel my order and pick up the order due to their lack of organization and general incompetence. so, if you're in a pinch, go to home depot. they're not much better, but at least their deliveries show up when promised.

I went into the Lowe's 5075 KIETZKE LANE Reno NV, 89511 to schedule an appointment for a bid to install new windows at my cabin in Tahoe Vista. The appointment was scheduled approximately two weeks out at my request. I received a few appointment reminders of the scheduled appointment. The day before the appointment, I drove from Sacramento to Tahoe Vista for the appointment. On the day and time of the appointment, no one showed up so I called the Customer Care number for assistance. I was routed to someone at the store who told me the person had been dispatched and should have been there by now. She said she'd call him. She also provided me with the estimator's phone number so I texted directly to ask him when he'd be there. The text response was that Lowe's doesn't service my area. The estimator said he was told someone notified me the day before the appointment. This didn't happen and frankly not sure it would have helped since I drove 120 miles just for this appointment the day before because the scheduled appointment was at 9 AM. The text went on to state that "Unfortunately, I hate to say this, but it happens all the time and I complain about it often because I'm the one that lets people down." I called the Customer Care number to file a complaint with the corporate office. I was told that the complaint would be forwarded but no one would be calling me back. If you have a known problem, why wouldn't you fix it unless you have zero regard for your customer's time. Later that day I received a call from the store manager at the Carson City location. I spent more time explaining my situation. He told me I called the wrong store and he couldn't help. He told me I needed to call the store where I created the appointment. I told him I didn't call his store, he called me. Totally screwed up system, complete disrespect for your customer's time, and the corporate office hides behind the staff answering the phone on the Customer Care line. You have way to much competition to be this sloppy.

If I could get away with negative stars I would. I ordered a washer & dryer on Friday. They was supposed to be delivered Sunday. They only dropped off the dryer. They didn't take it out of the box even though I requested it. They left it on my moms porch. Delivery guys asked my mom how much her rings cost??!!!! Now I am worried about them coming back. LOWES HAD NO SOLUTION. Kept delaying the delivery of the washer. I cancelled order. went promptly to Home Depot. Had no problem. Washer and dryer at my mom's house same day. I heard every excuse from Lowes. "Oh its a 3rd party delivery service". NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Then trying to get a manager on the phone on Sunday when the delivery happened. NOT POSSIBLE! phone transferred, never spoke to a manager!!! Had to go into the store and then spoke with a RUDE, OBNOXIOUS manager BRANDY. definitely needs to look at taking classes when it comes to dealing with customers who have concerns over their customers senior parents. Absolutely the worst. While waiting to speak to someone in the store. I witnessed them tell a customer on the phone that appliances were very busy. That was an absolute lie. I went straight back there and there was not one customer back there. PATHETIC!!! Don't bother telling me customer service is your priority. I can see it is not just from reading the other comments. Nothing is done. I will let corporate be aware if something happens to my mother after this experience.Mark my words.

The worst delivery. Ordered a washer and dryer and equipment kit to install and driver showed up without it and would not hook up. Called delivery manager (women) who was extremely rude and wasn't too concerned about the inconvenience of waiting an entire day only to be told that "maybe" they could deliver it in two days but she could not tell us until maybe tomorrow???? She could use some training, I give her a zero. Will be ordering from somewhere else.

Bought a new refrigerator her a few weeks back. Scheduled the delivery. Delivery day came around and about 15 minutes before the window for delivery i get a call saying not happening today. 1 day of changing my schedule, taking time off. Scheduled day for delivery, again, day 2 of changing my schedule. Delivery shows up, unwraps, discover a beautiful dent in the front door. Drive says he will notify his manager and schedule an exchange. That didn't happen. Called for two straight days trying to speak to appliances. They are short staffed and cannot answer calls. Requested a manager and got Samantha. I could hear the RBF over the phone. I'm sure she has other things to do. But so do i and as i paid you for a product is kinda your job to deliver it. The replacement will have to be ordered. Be here in 4to 10 days. Called again after a week to inquire about status. Appliances are still short staffed and can't answer the phone or return calls. After 2 days of trying i asked for a manager. Bless me there was Samantha again. After checking inventories she advised the refrigerator was in stock, conveniently, delivery to my area was the next day, i would recieve a call for the time window of delivery. So i changed my schedule, again (3rd times a charm right?). And no call about a delivery. Don't know if delivery will happen today, next week, next month, ........... Save the energy. Save the heart ache. Don't put any faith in this Lowes.

We would give them 0 stars if we could. My Wife and I looked into several flooring specialists in Reno for our house in Tahoe City. My wife found a floor product and color we liked at Lowes in Reno, so we ordered it. This happened the 1st week in November of 2022. They promised us we would have it in before Thanksgiving. We never heard from the salesman again after paying for the order. There were many excuses for not being able to get the product before Thanksgiving including blaming the manufacturer. After contacting several departments, they GUARANTEED us they would get it in before Christmas (we were planning for several visits by family and friends during Christmas week. Once again we got several excuses form EVERYONE, including Store manager, Installers etc... Well to make a long story even longer, It is now April 26th 2023, and the job is still not complete. They have installed 3/4 of the floor, and left us with 1/4 undone, and still haven't even started the detail work. Once again many excuses. LOWES BASICALLY TOOK OUR MONEY AND HAVE GIVEN US THE RUN-AROUND FOR 6 MONTHS. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH FROM ANY COMPANY. DO NOT USE LOWES! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A HIGH LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE AND DISREGARD FOR A CUSTOMER!

I have never had such an easy time at a big store before. I had to return an online order that I had NO paperwork for. Brandi had it processed and done in no time, with zero hassle. I was looking for salt to de-ice, and Mark was right there, got a cart for me, and put it in... After I checked out, Mark suggested I get my car and he'd put it in for me.... Home Depot is a headache, Thank you Brandi and Mark

I went into Lowes today to buy some LEVOLOR Trim+Go Cordless Cellular Shades. I had the measurements for 6 windows, but no one was working in the blinds and windows department. I saw a young lady by the name of Astra working in the flooring department and asked if she could cut some shades I needed to purchase. Even though Astra was working the flooring department, she was more than happy to cut and trim the cellular shades I wanted to purchase. She cut all (6) shades exactly to the measurements I specified and they were a perfect fit for my windows. Very happy customer!

Letter to Lowes: "As you can see, this order ( kitchen appliance ) was cancelled. Originally ordered August 8 in order to give lead time for delivery and installation that we paid for. First call we made after notice of product delivery was to store and were advised we would hear from the delivery service. Another couple of days and no notice. Called Premier Logistics, the given service by Lowes, said would get back to us when scheduled. No call back. Tried again, they said they jobbed it out to another service company, but having difficulty getting them on the phone. I asked for contact and they said were unable to give to me. I called back to Lowes again. Nice service lady, but said need to send me off to her supervisor, phone rang for ten minutes before I was shut off. We do not live permanently in the area and had to arrange an eight hour drive to meet the service delivery that never arrived. All the calls were initiated by me, not once did Lowes or any delivery attempt to reach me or explain any issues. I made at least 5 attempts to solve the issues, but no action was taken by Lowes or their subcontractors. We leave in two days and became necessary to cancel the order. Needless to say we are very disappointed in the service, or non service, of Lowes. This was inexcusable not to at least acknowledge a problem and try to solve or give the courtesy that the issue could not be solved in this instance. You have lost a customer. "
