Wow that's interesting you know I thought this was a great company, but I just found out that an employee was harassed so much to the point where she just said I'm not going to take this harassment anymore I thought that was against the law and I can't imagine Cal ranch allowing employees to harass another employee which is against the law, so guess what I'm sending an email to have an investigated and that means upper management lower management and the employee that done it and got away with it You're disgusting I will never step in your store You're disgusting I will never step in your store

This is the best place to get your propane tanks filled. The best price and easy service. Just pull up to the filing area on the left side of the store and ring the bell. The attendant will be out soon and fill you up. Easiest place to go and fill your tanks.

BOYCOTT C-A-L Ranch of Carson City!!! This business is a nuisance to the community!!! For over a YEAR now their security alarm system goes off & remains unattended ALL hours of the night! Anyone living within a 3 mile radius of this business will be awakened all hours of the night to their alarm system. Most recent case in point 2AM-6AM on 2/1/24 where Carson City Sheriffs Department had to get involved to get it turned off. This business is wasting community policing resources to address their negligence in fixing their alarm malfunctions. This happens frequently & the business is nothing but a nuisance to the community!! I will continue to report their negligence with dates & times. I highly discourage anyone from patronizing this irresponsible business!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I bought a 5.5 x 10 ft trailer. I was told I would get the paperwork in about 2 weeks. At the time I purchased if I go no paperwork except for the sales receipt. I called the store and asked for the manager. I was told her name was Robin and she would call me back as soon as she got to the store. I waited 3 hours for her to call. I went to the store and again Robin was not there but I was assured that she would call me. Quests what she didn’t. I don’t know but 3k is a lot of money for me and to have a manager not call me back is not great customer service. Long story short if almost 4 weeks now and I still do not have a plate for it. Very disappointed pointed in the customer service especially from Robin the manager.

Not the best or organized store. But good people. It's awesome that they price match now with online retailers like Amazon and Palmetto State Armory!

The employees were so unhelpful and so hostile that I gave up trying to find the items I needed. (They must have been trained by Walmart!) I ended up at Tractor Supply, where the nice employee I spoke to not only helped me find everything I needed but also made suggestions that would make my project easier and better. So thanks! I'll be sticking with Tractor Supply from now on!

Such a horrible experience I’m former military and today they really treated me like I was an idiot just bad experiences all the way around every time I’ve gone in there purchased one gun that broke on me shot one round through it tried to talk to him about it and they said maybe you put the wrong ammo in the gun. I know what the hell at 45cal shoots. The guys behind the Gun counter just complete I can’t even say the word very limited selection in Firearms, Holsters and magazines would not recommend anyone to go in and try to buy a firearm or anything else that I should do with firearms. That’s just my opinion it’s been the same experience every time.

Came in with an emergency and needed a gas can, I caught Dale and boy am I ever so grateful to get this gentleman. He not only hunted down the gas can I needed but also was kind enough to show me how to use it. What an excellent experience I left with confidence and with a good feeling about getting what I needed to done right in a timely manner. Big thank you to Dale and his amazing customer service! My family and I are so grateful!

Fun interesting environment with absolutely always friendly welcoming people! Amazing collection of hardware, animal ranch & farm products, tools, camping gear, grownups toys and accessories. I especially enjoy purchasing propane getting my internal Motorcoach tank filled with their convenient pull up fill station and talking to their always friendly resident experts and professionals.

Always solid experience at CAL Ranch. Second time pinching up chicks here and everything you need to raise em right, and boy do they have it all. We needed a waterer, starter feed and bedding to get them set up. We have a stock tank we use as a brooder and got the lightbulb elsewhere, so with that, we were ready to pick out our chicks.The store usually has 6-8 brooders in the store with a variety of breeds. I like the fact they have nice posters that give you some detail about them so you can make an informed decision. The female employee that helped us really took care of us. She really had her eye out for the healthiest and most age compatible birds, and when she saw we were looking for some additional variety, she took us in the back to see more than a dozen other breeds kept in the back! Early season usually means more variety, so your chances of this may lessen later on. We ended up with barred rock, Americauna, scarlet gem, light Brahma, and golden comet this time around and we're excited for them to grow. Chickens seriously are simple and fun. You should pick up some chicks yourself!

This is a great store. Weather you're in the market for a particular item or just want to browse, you will find something. The employees are really helpful and have a great attitude.
