Put my tires on backwards and my car drove like garbage for a bit until I noticed. At least they fixed it for me, but a refund or partial refund would’ve been nice so I could get my car re-aligned.

This place is a joke, I go in to get a tire changed that should be covered under warranty through nitto tires. I spent over $1300 for a set of tires that had less then 2000 miles on them. We'll some supposedly mechanic here at discount tire tells me, "this definitely looks like a warranty situation to me, just to find out he told nitto it was caused due to a road hazard. The reason Goodyear, Firestone and countless other tire manufacturers come with an 85,000 mile warranty regardless of what happens to the tire is because they know they have a quality product that will withstand normal road conditions. Nitto there is basically no warranty, they cost way more, they say if your at fault, no warranty because their tires are far inferior to much cheaper options. I would like to know how this guy can tell me it's my fault. He can't, it's all a joke, stay away from Nitto tires at all cost as well as discount tire, Your wallet will thank you.

Disappointed. Discount Tire is by far the best tire shop I have ever used. Came in to get the tires rotated and balanced on my Sierra 2500 HD. I purchased and insured these tires from this store about 18 months ago ($2300).
The manager checked me in and was clear that I needed all four tires balanced because I had a vibration. The crew was very busy because it was the end of the day. I watched as they pulled the tires off, checked the air and started putting them back on. I stepped out and told them that the tires need balanced and they told me the paperwork said they only need rotated. I called the manager on it and he came up with "it was just a misunderstanding.". I would hate to see my zeal and trust in Discount Tire ruined because of shortcuts at the end of a long day. My family rides on these tires.

Thank you for having what we needed! We called so many tire shops looking for a special size tire and finally this shop had it! They offered to hold it for us to get there after I explained it will be an hour drive, they also were super busy when we arrived but was able to get the tire on the rim and us out the door in under 10 minutes! Awesome team!

Ive been buying tires from discount tire at 18520 wright in omaha for over ten years and have always been satisfied until april 23rd of this year when I bought two tires for my travel trailer they didnt have the tires I wanted but assured me that the tires they had in stock would work fine so I trusted they would be fine and pulled the trailer out to western NE and before heading back I checked the psi in the tires and discovered the new tires had a max inflation of 50 psi even thou the trailer specs called for 65 psi so I called the store with my concern and their advice was to lower all the tires to 50 psi which didnt seem safe to me so I asked to speak to the manager which they said was busy but would call me back and its no surprise that call never came and Im an X customer

Anyone that’s given discount anything but 5 stars should change it to 5. I woke up this morning to 2 flat tired on my daily driver. I was stressed out, we just bought a house on top of just putting 4 brand new tires on both of our cars. I filled them up and drove on in, exceptional customer service from these gents. They took care of my car in under an hour and had me on my way to work. I will absolutely be back when I need anything tire related. Thank you guys you are awesome

Went in for a free tire rotation they're always on time when you make an appointment they now sell wiper blades and I managed to get all three of them for around 21 bucks on sale installed which was great. They don't try and oversell you either.

The individual who greeted us as the counter was immediately rude and condescending. I had ordered online and made an appointment to have the tires installed a few days prior. She said because I ordered through Tire Rack that my tires weren't there, and I would have to contact them. I told her that I received a tracking confirmation that they had arrived along with numerous automated texts from Discount Tire that they had arrived. She then said "I don't know what to tell you but your tires aren't here".
I asked if they had any comparable tires in stock and she said "no". I asked if they could look again and after more attitude they finally found my "missing" tires.
I will NOT be going back to this Discount Tire ever again. Absolutely horrible customer service from the moment I walked in to the moment I left.

First off, let me say that the original woman that took care of me was courteous, professional and sincere. On the other hand, Jay (the store manager) is VERY sarcastic, rude and aggressive. I had them mount and balance my new tires I purchased through Tirerack and when I left one of the sensors was no longer working. Their shop was very busy that day so I decided to go home and try my Ford TPMS calibration tool. It would not pick up on one wheel. I figured stuff happens, no big deal, I'm sure they will fix it. I talked to the original rep about it and she was very nice and understanding and set up an appointment for me for a couple days later to get it fixed.
Jay (the manager) undid all of her good work almost instantly. He asked what he could help me with and I began to tell him what happened while he looked completely disinterested and annoyed. His demeanor is sarcastic and fast talking with little interest in listening to customers. He didn't want to look at his employees notes and didn’t care that I had an appointment, he just kept impatiently asking "so what do you NEED??". I got some of the story out and he is staring at me like I'm a moron and pauses - then LAUGHS - and says "so you need a new sensor - got it". I try to continue the conversation because I'm not a new customer needing a sensor, I needed them to replace the one they broke. But he grabs my keys and darts off through the garage toward my car... while I was still talking.
I was at a loss. Laughed at and cut off, all within 2 mins of interacting with a manager. I followed him out and told him I don't need a new sensor, you need to replace the one you broke. He immediately says "I don't know that, if the battery died you will have to pay for it". Then I asked him to stop messing with my car because I would rather wait to deal with someone professional. He then quickly came over to me and literally got his face 3 inches from my face. He asked me (in a sarcastic tone) why I was so angry and I explained that I don't like being laughed at, cut off, and treated like a fool. My sensors are only a year old and it would be one major coincident for the battery to die at the precise time they mounted the new tires. I had one wheel that I replaced so I thought perhaps they left the sensor on the old wheel. When I checked the back of the stem, it was obvious my sensor had been broken off. Jay claimed they CUT THE SENSORS OFF to save time (even though it's held on by ONE screw and you can't remount it after cutting it).
Eventually they replaced the broken sensor and I was on my way. But I am glad I stood my ground because I read another review where they broke the sensor and made the customer pay for a new one. Jay took an opportunity to show that Discount Tire stands by their work and values their customers and instead chose to make sure that I would never use their services again.
UPDATE: The regional manager contacted me and we had a long conversation. He seemed genuinely concerned and never made excuses. The most impressive part is he never asked me to alter or remove my review, which is why I am adding this update. I will give them another chance when the time comes.

I've had a lot of service performed at discount tire over the past decade, but my most recent visit was very upsetting. I brought my camper in and paid $30 a wheel ($120 total) to have tpms sensors put in for my camper. When I parked the camper for service, I asked that they jack the camper up on the frame next to where the springs connect as it states in the owner manual. After going inside to wait for service to be completed, I wandered back out to find that the unit had been jacked up on the axels, which is not recommended by the manufacturer. All the wheels were off already off and in some state of mounted or not, and when I mentioned the issue, nothing was done. Just, I'll talk to my service team. That doesn't help me feel better by performing service in a manner against manufacturer recommendations. I brought my camper to discount because I felt I could trust them, but they acknowledged my request and then just didn't do it. I could have paid a lot less and got a similar level of service elsewhere.

They dinged my door handle to the point of having no paint left. When I approached Nathen B he was apologetic and said it would be taken care of. When claims called they told us that Nathen had told them not to pay for it because they never touched that door. I’m not sure how they would have gotten 21 inch rims and tires out without opening the back door. They refuse to take any responsibility even with proof that it was not there prior to the service. Not to mention who unloads wheels and tires in the bay. I will never be going back.
