Called in to see what the diesel prices were at this location because HYVEE can have the best fuel prices in the area pretty regularly but wanted to verify before heading over. Chuck was less than helpful. There’s a sign in front of the location with bright green numbers on it and apparently he didn’t have anything right in front of him with the prices on it but he couldn’t be inconvenienced to look out the window. HYVEE used to be a helpful smile in every aisle but apparently I got Crusty Chuck, just there for a buck. Thanks Chuck! ?

It's a Hy-Vee gas station got fresh food cooked there fresh, you can see it. I also have Pocky sticks. If you're unfamiliar with these they're just I believe their cracker sticks dipped in yogurt. But don't quote me 100% on that. It's what it tastes like to me, but they're really good.

3/17/24 Was getting diesel and the pump didn't shut off. Luckily i was standing there so able to shut off quick. But still lost a couple gallons of diesel and it went all over my truck and the ground. Went inside and told them and they didn't say sorry about that or nothing. Wouldn't recommend getting fuel here.

always some of the cheapest fuel and diesel prices in the Gretna area, and love that they offer higher ethanol blends like E15 and E85.

So, let me spill the beans about my trip to Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh. I was all hyped up for some Diet Coke and those irresistible $1 hotdogs. But guess what? The soda machine was fresh out of syrup for the Diet Coke.And as for those advertised $1 hotdogs? Sold out.So, if you're cool with syrup-less Diet Coke and hotdogs pulling disappearing acts, Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh might be your quirky hangout. But if you're like me, craving some fizzy fun and budget bites, you might want to scout out other options.Come on, Hy-Vee, get it together!

I'm sitting in my truck waiting for my wife to pick up a few things when I noticed a Hyvee employee walking beside an older man on an electric shopping cart. They were engaged in conversation and the Hyvee employee was walking with his hand on the old man's shoulder. It made my heart happy to see this kind of positive interaction the employee was having with the customer. I wasn't able to get the employee's name, he was a black man with a unique haircut. This is a very good Omaha favorite for shopping. Not as affordable as Walmart or other chain, but it has very good products you won’t find in those other chains. Their meats are top notch, tasty and well cut. Reminds me of Whole Foods markets
