Recently purchased a Toyota RAV4 Prime from Stephen McLean at Gregg Young Toyota in Columbus, Nebraska. Drove to the dealership from Valley, Nebraska because an Omaha Toyota dealer was only willing to sell me a car if I paid a $5,000.00 premium over dealer price. Steve and his dealership were very helpful and did everything possible to make my buying experience great. We love the new car and may purchase another Toyota from Gregg Young in Columbus. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The rep came out and told me they wouldn't rotate my tires because putting back on the lug nuts was a safety concern. They rotated the same wheels and lug nuts 5k miles ago and no safety concern. Today, they could sell me 24 new lug nuts for $344.40. I asked if there was some kind of mistake that maybe she wrote it down wrong and messed up the decimal place and she said she didn't and that it was supply chain issues that made them so expensive. I just bought the same lug nuts off Amazon for $24, for 24 lug nuts. They graciously offered to put them on for me. So to recap, wasn't a safety issue 5k miles ago (look at the pictures you took GYT-its the same), is an issue today, but you can solve that issue for a mere $344.40

Purchased a 2020 Subaru Ascent from Ernst Toyota in October of 2023. First they sent me the title with me as the seller instead of the buyer. Almost from day one we experienced a "shudder" occasionally in the transmission. We also could not get the driver side window to roll up in extremely cold weather. I emailed Mike Backstrom about the issue with the window on January 18 of 2024. They responded but didn't get the car in for service. I emailed them in March again and finally they got the vehicle in. We were having problems with the "shudder" on the transmission, window roll up on driver side and an air leak in the moon roof. They got the vehicle in and did nothing for the "warranty" they were telling us was so good when we bought the vehicle. Said the window worked fine, and couldn't detect a leak in the moon roof, and told us to take the vehicle to Subaru for the transmission. We did and DeTeau Subaru of Lincoln has agreed to fix EVERYTHING we had a problem with AND also found an engine oil leak that no one at Ernst said anything about. Will NOT recommend anyone buying a used vehicle at Ernst or now Gregg Young due to Poor service after the sale. 5 star service???
