always a good experience with cut and color with Kyndee here; it’s always clean and comfortable, music playing varies by mood of the stylists working (and the convos on music are pretty entertaining) … it’s generally relaxing and enjoyable :)

I was super nervous for my first hair highlight appointment but kindy my hairstylist was so nice and sweet and made feel like I could trust her with my hair and it turned out beautifully and I will definitely be coming back!!!

My girl Vanessa is the best! I’ve been going to her for at least 15 years.
Sometimes when I get to my appointment, I don’t even know what I want to do with my hair. She always has good suggestions and steers me in the right direction. I have never left the salon unhappy or disappointed. Not once.
If you go to Vanessa, you will make a new friend and a new permanent hairdresser. She’s professional and truly cares about you and your hair.

I don’t remember who cut my hair but it was a very big hot mess and she did a super great job and I will be returning back 100% hands-down suggest this salon

Haile Norred is absolutely amazing!!!! Listens to you and you walk out feeling and looking like a million bucks!!! She is polite, respectful of your opinion. You won't be disappointed!!!

After a not-so-great experience, took a chance on Vanessa, owner at Evolve salon in Kalispell. Not only did she give me exactly the haircut I described, but she quickly assessed my hair type and helped me confirm the cut was a good decision for me. Vanessa was very personable and created very fun conversations WITH me, not just talking AT me. We need to feel comfortable with the stylist and if they give us a great cut, icing on the cake! I felt very at home in her salon setting and other stylists were also very friendly to me. I have found my home salon and it is a relief to stop fretting that I will not find a good fit. I highly recommend the salon in general and Vanessa in particular, although she said all staff are just as accommodating and personable.

Vanessa is the absolute BEST! Has been doing my hair for over 18 years and never fails to do a beautiful job. I get compliments on my pink hair constantly, it is so vibrant, shiny, and soft. Fades like a dream. Thank you Vanessa!!!!!

I started seeing Vanessa in 2007. I travel from nearly 70 miles away and she’s worth every mile. No one knows my hair better. She’s skilled, attentive, knowledgeable, and goes out of her way to give me exactly what I want and always makes sure I’m happy with my cut and color. Without question, she’s one of the BEST.

First cut with Vanessa was fantastic! Followed my requests perfectly and seemed lovely to work with.
2nd cut I was again right on time but was kept waiting fot a good deal of the appointment time and finally came out and spent 5 minutes on the cut, used a flat iron to dry the sides, burning off the hair, partially cut the back then said oh well and dropped it. No products to protect and when finished I left with it sticking straight out all over with static electricity. Plus what she did cut was undercut when I had clearly requested layerinwasg like she had done before. OMG, what a mess. I was upset, but mostly concerned that perhaps she was having a bad day.
Stupidly went back one more time, this time bringing a friend, who I instructed to watch and what to observe. AGAIN, I carefully explained NO UNDERCUTTING, just slightly LAYERING, and I commented on the flat iron and broken hair. She denied that she had done that. Then proceeded to UNDERCUT my hair. Horrible cut plus complained the whole time that the landlord had doubled her rent.
I suggested that, in view of the last cut, if she was ever having a bad day, to feel welcome to call me and cancel. When we left, my friend confirmed that he observed that she deliberately gave me the wrong cut. Plus it again was very poorly cut.
Every time I've sought her services I have been kind and professional plus she charged me different prices always much more than her usual price AND I have tipped her handsomely. Yet she deliberately wrecked my hair and the burnt sides don't grow back; they just keep breaking off. When a person TRUSTS and pays a professional for a service, it is a cruel thing to behave in such a mean spirited manner as she has done. However, I do know she is skilled and I remain concerned for her well-being and state of mind. It is my hope that someone close to her reads this and helps her get whatever help she needs.

Phenomenal job cutting my hair. I have made it a priority to drive from Eureka to Kalispell once a month, just to get my hair cut there. One of the nicest most professional establishments in the area. Always willing to listen and make suggestions as needed. Definitely recommend as a go to place. Make sure you book ahead it is always quite the busy place. 11/10 and Six stars out of five!!!!!!

Haley D. was INCREDIBLE. She was so sweet, patient, and attentive. She was so good about offering her professional opinion while still leaving room for mine. She even spent extra time to cut my hair wet and dry to make sure we achieved the look and shape that I wanted. I will definitely be back for her!!
