Called left message still no call back after fire department to me to call and get tank discharge from propane company that can do it. I still have a 100bl propane tank leaking . No help.

Dishonest, incompetent, unscrupulous always raising their prices, treat long term customers like trash, terrible customer service, won't do a thing for you if you need it but tack on extra fees faster than you can blink. If you own your own propane tank go someplace else for service.

Traveling through the area. 30lb RV propane tank valve failed. Called City Service, associate answering my call was warm and friendly, said to bring tanks right away. When I got there Tyler was very helpful and understanding of the situation. Tanks inspected and valve replaced by noon at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Opened an account with City Service last summer that included an install of new tank which also meant a new regulator. The install was smooth but as winter came along my furnace wouldn't start. Had to pay two different HVAC companies to finally determine that the flow on the regulator was set too low to feed the furnace when it was installed. From talking to the HVAC companies, they said they see improperly adjusted regulators all time with new installs.Fast-forward to my first refill. I had inadvertently allowed the propane to run out in large part due to the increased consumption of fuel once the furnace was operable. It was explained to me that I'd have to pay $75 for a leak test and that I would be added to the weekly route which happened to be going right by my house the following day. No explanation of any other additional fees was given other than the $75 leak test. The invoice shows that fee plus a $125 off-route delivery fee. Since this wasn't explained at the onset and technically my house was on-route, I requested to have the charge reviewed by management. Management insisted the charge was fair despite not being disclosed over the phone. The only remedy offered was to get on their auto-fill program which I probably would have done had this first experience with their customer service not left such a sour taste.

Service and fuel deliveries have gotten terrible. Used to be a reputable provider, but now I’d suggest exploring other propane providers.

Infinitely better than AmeriGas in so many ways… better pricing, someone answers the phone when you call, everyone I have talked to is polite and professional, appointments available sooner, able to take payment over the phone then send an email receipt. Save yourself the suffering of working with AmeriGas and just call CityServiceValcon!!

A real local person answered the phone! On the first call! In these times that says it all. Tammy was cheerful and helpful, and I called more than once. I called to check prices, then to order my tank filled as they were the best price. Thank you folks. I really appreciate friendly folks, price, and can do spirit!

City service continued to provide service in my name to my ex husband for over a year after I moved out and notified them. Now they have sent me to collections for the bill. I called every month for a year was told once to throw away the bill and then gnite any further notices as it was their issue not mine. Was told they were gonna write it off since it was their mistake. Now I get nasty letters...they are denying any contact with me. Poor customer service.

This would have been a 5 star review, they delivered the propane to my deceased brother's property very quickly.I got the amount over the phone $676, told the nice person I ordered from that I would send the check the same day, as I was just managing the estate. I sent the payment.What happens after is weird, they sent me another bill, it was more than 676, I offered to pay it, they said no. Supervisor wrote it off. It was like $11. This now happens monthly, they send the bill, I call and offer to pay, they say no, it has been wrote off...just getting angry at this point! Sent them a letter, they just sent another bill...

Ran out of propane inadvertently due to surgery and forgot to look at the gauge. Rich would have provided Sunday delivery however I have electric backup. Personally can Monday morning, filled tank, moved furniture to get to the basement, restarted hot water, then graciously started the fireplace. Kind man, took good care since I'm recovering, and helped set up auto delivery with a monitor so I don't make this mistake again.

CityServiceValcon provides great service! I called them yesterday and they just finished filling my tank. My driveway is a bit slick but no problem - he stopped at the top and put on chains before coming down. He filled the tank back up to 90% and left a bill on my door knob.With AmeriGas I finally had to call my credit card company and cancel my payment to them after waiting nearly two weeks after placing my order (you have to pay them in advance). That got them to show up the next day by sending a driver from Libby. I had called repeatedly over the two week delay to check on delivery as I was running low, but could only reach a holding queue that said the wait was 79 minutes and then they'd hang up.
