I’m so grateful to the employees here. Alyssa in particular was absolutely awesome and really saved my entire vacation. I had originally booked a rental with enterprise, only to find out they were closed when I got there and I had no was to pick up a car. Instead of leaving me stranded, Alyssa did some magic and got me a really great rate and the perfect car for my trip. It was so appreciated at the last minute and saved me a lot of stress. They were also really understanding when I was running a little late in the way to drop it off. I can’t say enough about my experience here. Thanks so much! I’ll rent from budget anytime I’m back in the area.

We requested a "Mid Size SUV" when I booked through Priceline in January. We picked up our vehicle when we landed in Bozeman on 9/2/23. However, we were given a off road Jeep. We thought, no biggie. Until we started driving it! Bouncy, loose steering wheel and VERY uncomfortable seats. We called the Budget Car Rental in Kalispell and, basically, pleaded with them that we were to old to be in that Jeep! They told us they understood and said "no problem" They hooked us up with a Chevy Traverse that was much, much better! When we got to the location, the young lady at the desk could not have been more helpful and polite! Brad even helped us get our stuff out of the Jeep and into the Traverse. I would HIGHLY recommend Budget Car Rental at the Kalispell airport!

Everything was fine until the end.Got a rental with a counter upgrade to an SUV to visit the national park. Upon immediately leaving the parking lot, the tire pressure light came on, so I called the location to swap. They said we could just try putting air in the tire since it had been cold lately and might be messing with the sensor. We didn't want to run the risk of it being a more serious issue, so we dropped of our bags and I returned to the airport to swap it out (~35mi round trip).They swapped the vehicle no issue and apologized for the inconvenience and got me on my way.When I returned the vehicle, I was hit with a charge for a flat tire and a fuel charge even though both cars were filled before returning. The manager said the flat was my fault since I left the parking lot (>1mi on a car with less than 11,000mi overall). Manager said he was going to do me a favor of removing the charge even though it was my fault and then proceeded to charge me anyway. After waiting 30min to try and resolve it the first time, I didn't have any more time to argue since we had a flight to catch. Didn't notice the fuel charge until later, assumed I wouldn't be charged since I filled the vehicles.While the vehicle and employees at the counter were fine, it was the manager and his handling of the situation that made an otherwise OK experience turn into a terrible one. Guess there's a reason the other rental car companies had a long line and this one didn't. Not planning on renting from this location again.

Came in for a rental same day, no reservation in Late August 2023. Quincy was the lady who assisted me in getting a rental right away. She was so professional, nice, and great customer service. Other rental people need to learn from here. Scored a Jeep grand wagoneer and it was a wonderful suv to rent for a few day. Thank again Quincy for all your help!

Disappointed with my experience because I was misled. Our party needed a 7 seat vehicle instead of the 5 seat we booked initially.the woman assisting us offered me a 7 seat vehicle for an upgraded price, so I agreed, but when we left we realized the vehicle was only for 6 people. It was very stressful after we left we realized we were stuck with a car that couldn’t accommodate our party and it made our trip not work out as well.I wish I had the time to switch things out but we were there for a wedding and had to get on the road. While the staff was friendly I feel like I shouldn’t have paid for a 7 seat when I got a 6.*update*I am giving a better rating for this business, after posting this review the manager called and apologized for giving me the truck and told me they made a mistake and just didn’t realize it didn’t have the 7 seats, he also refunded me for a portion of what I paid.Very nice and much appreciated!

I rented the car online for $7xx and was charged $1xxx. When renting the car at the counter, they said it is a deposit that’d be returned after return - but it never come until I spent 1 hour trying to coordinate Budget customer service and my bank.I don’t know what advise I may give but think twice if they do charge your deposit and ask for a receipt and accurate day for receiving the deposit when returning the car.I did receive a e-receipt and they mention the deposit would only show after 72 hours in the account. In this regard, I’m just not going to rent car with budget the rest of my life. It is not a honest company and the customer service is the worst.

The Budget manager came to the rescue when another rental car company car failed to start repeatedly. He saved our vacation. Thank you ever so much. I am a Budget Car Company loyal customer from now on.

I left my backpack in the back seat of the rental car in kalispell montana. i remembered it while at the alaska airline ticketing counter. i called budget and said i would be down to get it. about 10 minutes later while i was still in line there was a tap on my shoulder. It was budget employee Brad with my backpack. if that's not great service, i don't know what is.

AVOID Budget car rental at Glacier Park Int'l airport (FCA) AT ALL COSTS. I live in the area and had a friend whose truck broke down, and could not get it repaired after a week. He needed a car to get home to Seattle area for his daughter's birthday. We reserved online at Budget (BIG mistake) and went to the airport to pick it up. The haughty and rude attitude from the counter staff person was unsurpassed. She refused to accept the online reservation because of no credit card -- OK I get the policy but no need to be nasty. She refused to cancel that reservation and turn it into mine with my buddy added as a secondary driver. She refused to provide the small SUV reserved, and offered a van with son many dings and dents marked on the car silhouette , it was nearly illegible -- seriously over a dozen dents, etc. Once we made a new reservation under my name, adding my friend as a secondary driver, the price went from $313 to $580 -- for a one day rental with drop off! Asked for an explanation, she first said it was because we added a driver. When pointing to the $313 on the original reservation (in her hand), she screamed, "Don't put your hand up to me. He had a BCD!" What ever that is. She then said, "I don't need to rent to you. Go somewhere else." After insulting her for her rudeness, unprofessional behavior and obnoxious attitude, we did. Got a much better car at a lower price with impeccable service (use National). I have rented dozens of cars, have status with 2 companies, and have never been treated like this. DO NOT GIVE BUDGET YOUR BUSINESS. They don't want it or deserve it.

I never imagine writing a review for a car rental place but these folks are great. Quick and friendly at pickup, and when I had a very complicated drop off situation, they were able to help me out and come up with a very reasonably priced solution. Just the nicest place.

Highly recommend Budget at the Kalispell airport! The staff coming and going were so quick, helpful, and kind. Upon arrival, they upgraded us from a sedan to an SUV and with the road conditions in GNP during our visit, boy were we thankful. Best rental car experience we have had!

Will SCAM you at the slightest opportunity! After getting my receipt when I returned my car, I realized they had TRIPLED the cost of my rental, without informing me that there was any rate change, thereby trying to scam me out of $600. When I called customer service my call was dropped at least five times. I finally got someone to agree to refund me, but then nothing actually happened until I called back again and learned that the franchise location would need to approve the refund. Eventually they made a change after I called the location two more times, but I still have not received the full amount. Instead they included the original taxes and fees in the base rate, and double charged me for the taxes and fees.

CREDIT CARD REQUIRED. It CANNOT say "Debit" on your card. They lost our business. Won't bother booking with them again. 0 stars worthy. Budget Failed to communicate prior to the booking that credit cards are required. 1 star because it's required to post.
