Regardless of what the whiny customers have said about this place, it's great. They probably don't answer their phones when you call because they don't want YOU as a customer and neither do I. The motto " The customer is always right " is a bunch of Bull$hit.

The employees have always been very helpful in person. If they did not have the knowledge to help me the consulted with someone who did. They are always very accommodating about returns and exchanges.

I brought my daughter's lawn mower in for repair and it sat there for three weeks. They didn't fix anything, it still doesn't work and they said it works. I wasn't born yesterday and I've used many different brands of lawn equipment few decades. They charged me $35 service fee for doing nothing. It is very hard to start, once starting to mow it chokes out and dies. It now the end of July and they won't answer the phone or return a call so far. This is not a good way to do business as I know a lot of people in this small community and work for a firm that uses there services. That can easily change.

Love this place! Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection including items you wouldn't normally find in a non-big box store such as pet supplies. In and out fast, I've never been left waiting for service, unlike the big box stores.

Do you miss that good old-fashioned feeling of being able to talk with people and going into a store and having a good one on one conversation with a store owner or people that work in the store that take pride in their work? Yeah, so do I. Well I got that today. Went into Ace, worked with Steve. First of all he took, what probably would have ended up in me wondering the store for an hour looking for stuff, into a 15-minute shopping trip, so saved me time. But also, just had a good general, not specific, conversation, connection, about what I was buying my materials for. Simple. No one usually has time for that, but Steve did, because Steve took the time to walk me around the store to find all the things I needed (instead of just pointing, or telling me an isle number). Amazing! Go shop at Ace. Say hi to Steve. Best customer Service experience I've had in a long while.

Friendly, helpful staff with wider selection of goods than most Ace's I've been to. Prices are fair to good (very good if what you want is on sale).

An Ace associate spent about 15 full minutes with me trying to match up a single sleeve and screw for a picture frame. Total sell price of .44 cents. Absolutely outstanding!!

Read Michael's review below. Exactly how I feel about this store! Apparently, Montana Ace should move to a different state and change their name. Will not shop there again. I have noticed their parking lot is not near as full as it used to be. In fact, looking pretty empty these days. If you want to feel like a common criminal, shop here. If not, I wouldn't recommend it!
