I love Piccolo's! They have amazing selection and they're really nice. There prices are just as good or better than online or the big box retailers. It's nice buying from knowledgeable musicians that can actually answer your questions and truly love making music. Shawn and Paul are always so helpful. Really glad Helena has such a great music store.

This is a great music store they have big selection of gear . I grabbed a beautiful turquoise PRS SE guitar and a little Orange crush amp there. The staff are really nice , not a single D bag in the group which is rare for a music store lmao .they are knowledgeable and do great setups. It’s a MASSIVE relief to not have to gamble on online gear showing up goofy and have to mess with returns. Besides guitar gear they have a selection of instruments , services and lessons . Pop in for good vibes , quality gear and unmatched service .

Great service! I was in a local rehearsal the evening prior, and my trombone spit valve’s springs decided to fly off. I stopped in the next morning for an emergency repair, and they patched me up quickly and effectively in time for me to make the next night’s rehearsal. Their price was SUPER fair, especially for something so last-minute, and they made sure everything was in working order before I left. I’ll be returning next time I’m in need of repair!

If you want to rent to own an instrument, you have to have a credit card. Unfortunately the business doesn’t understand not everybody wants a credit card. And, for an oboe that’s a low grade quality, I was willing to pay double a month that was being asked. Even offered to keep my debit card on file. They won’t work with you.It’s really sad that classical music is dying, and those that have a passion to play get denied and talked down to.

Upgraded to larger violin for orchestra student. The small one was bought new and was paid for. When we got home the one that was given to us as a trade had a hole & loose bridge. They will not compensate us.
