Wow, we live 12 miles from Steelville on 40 acres of timber. We have a full gigabit connection to the Internet for just under $100 per month! We are so blessed to have such high quality affordable service. Our former cable company SparkLight charged $135 per month and they can’t provide a true gig up and down. And the techs are great! In the years I've had STE, I've barely had any drops at all. The service has been extremely consistent, professional, and enjoyable. I'm streaming 4k, gaming, and my wife is constantly on her web calls without issue! Super impressed by this ISP. And the pricing has been great too!

So far so good! The only internet that was available in our area was from century link and after 3x of them not showing up to do the install and terrible customer serivce, we decided to wait for the fiber optic internet in Norwood! We are SO HAPPY that we waited! John did our install, he was very professional and was so helpful! Our internet was up and running within an hour and the speed is great! We're so happy that we have STE fiber optic internet, it is a game changer for a fair price!

Had the service for 3 days, service went out, and I got ran around loops and given a ticket number. Probably the worst internet provider out here as far as quality goes. Just wrap a macaroni noodle in tin foil and put it in the window, you’ll get better internet service.

We have had internet with them for about 3 months now, and the men that have all come to our home have been so respectful and caring! Thank you! Our internet is up and working, we’ve have had a glitch or two, but for where we live out in BFE this is amazing! Today, Paul came out to do the fiber work and he was polite, kind, and very helpful and did an amazing job! So thank you all very much!

Worst experience trying to get my deposit refunded to me! Nearly 2 months after end of service and paying any remaining balance and being promised a refund in less than a week after bringing the balance to 0 still no refund. Now 3 phone call later and a whole heck of a lot of frustration...and they still don't have my mailing address correct!!I'm wondering if they ever planned on refunding me at all. Just so completely unprofessional and degrading to put their customers in this situation. Having to call again and again and beg for a deposit refund and responding with a complete run around.

During our quarantine when COVID hit I had to start teaching from home. My internet connection was not good enough to support that. I know STE was swamped at that time but they got out here as quickly as they could to upgrade my internet. Thanks STE!

I have had to pay a reconnect fee before my bill was due. The bill is due on the 20th of each month. I paid it on the 17th. The thing is the fee was from the month before when I got disconnected

Absolutely horrible customer service. Called about a billing issue (getting charged for two months when they've already been paid with bank statements to prove it). Woman on the phone was entirely rude and not helpful in the least, she even rose her voice!!. Please go somewhere else for your telephone or internet services.
