Really great folks in the shop, and most staff are willing to show me what they're doing. I've learned so much about bikes and my bike from these folks.
That said, be VERY careful if you order parts from them that aren't in stock. They don't offer information about the parts they order, and it's often low-quality while you're still paying local bike shop prices. Its really disappointing because I love the service sidw and I'd like this to be my go-to shop, but it's gotten to the point where I have to go somewhere else if a repair or upgrade needs any parts at all.

Do you know how some talk about the Great American novel? They never talk about the Great American Bike Shop. Urban Shark Bicycle Co/Big Shark is a bike shop I hope every rider can experience. As an absolute complete novice to riding/bikes/all of that, I was fully ready to walk in and get ripped off. Instead, I’m greeted by two of the most pleasant people: Chris and Justin. They were able to assess my bike, give me genuinely good advice, and fix my bike according to the specifications I presented. They worked with a budget, explained all the repairs, and literally gave me the confidence to ride my bike knowing I’d be safe and what I could expect. The store has everything you need, but it wouldn’t be as amazing as it was without Chris and Justin. Pleasant, quick, intelligent, and excellent customer service. I’m so so glad I came to them for their expert advice and am sure I’ll be returning in the future.

they have done a great job on my bike i was going to them wean they wear in the city they change my tire they had fix my chain gears and made brakes better it easer ride soonn to get whole brakes

I never work/repair my own bike because I don't know what I am doing. The repair that Urban Shark did on my bike was excellent. They answered my concerns. I love the ride of my bike.

Job: partial bike assembly.
Terrible customer service. Multiple delays, zero phone calls from them. Every time I called, new person, new story, new deadline, new promise someone will call me.
They messed up wrapping my handlebars and misplaced/lost some small parts of mine I was hoping to get back. They offered to retape the handlebars, look for the missing parts and/or to give me a gift card. As I learned my lesson not to deal with this poorly run business, I declined.
In addition, I just noticed that the two grommets on the fork, which I provided clearly labeled "top" and "bottom", are installed inverted.

Don’t take it if you ever want your bike back. Took it on a Wednesday. Was promised for the following Monday. Wasn’t ready. Called Tuesday - wasn’t ready. Promised for Wednesday. Called Thursday. Wasn’t ready. Promised for Friday. Think I got my hopes up? Their customer service absolutely sucks. Will never go back.

They truly came through for me, I needed something done super last minute for my little girls birthday and they told me come on in and they handled it right away.
