I was looking for a local dealer for my new firearm purchases.I saw that this dealer was near my POA.I called the owner to see how his process works. He even referred me to great websites that offered lower prices for what I was shopping for.John is the Best hands down! I am truly looking forward to doing business with him again. He is so funny and cool, he even had a GI Joe moment ??.My firearms were delayed but John explained, was helpful and patient with his process.I highly recommend him.Thanks John!Toni.

Called sammys just to ask a simple question regarding switching a part on my new rifle that I did not purchase from them, figured I’d probably be told to contact my dealer but John was more than helpful. He went above and beyond; was concerned about me switching the part over correctly and with caution. Based off of this phone call I can tell this is a great business with tons of experience. Thanks John! Now I won’t break my charging handle.

So I'm changing my review, a while back I had contacted sam to do a transfer. At the time I was home schooling my disabled son. I was in the other room so my boyfriend had just called to ask a few questions, he was told since I'm the owner of the firearm he needed to speak with me..So later on when I was able to, I called back to speak with Sam myself. When I mentioned the gun, he says oh ya I don't wanna do business with you. When I asked why he was very rude, and said he feels like it's a straw sale. He rudely hung up on me, so I left him a one star review because I felt treated very rudely. Well Sam, I am changing my review because that was my first time transferring a firearm. When my boyfriend called I was very busy, and if I would have known how serious it was well I just would have called first. He was just calling around for me trying to help find a place, you were very rude. But I understand alot better now why, so I'm changing my review maybe in the future we can do business. I understand you might not have been having a good day, or maybe you just didn't feel comfortable because he called first..He was just calling places trying to help me find a place, I have 3 boys and I'm a busy mom sometimes..Needless to say I will be changing my review to 3 stars, maybe in the future we can handle this better. When that day comes I'm sure I will leave 5 stars, just please understand it was my first time transferring a firearm.. God bless

I recently bought a firearm from Masterpiece Arms and had it delivered to them. As a first time gun buyer, they were very helpful and informative about purchasing guns online, and with the rules and regulations of purchasing and obtaining firearms. The price was very affordable too, and I would highly recommend buying online and sending your gun to them. I was able to get exactly what I wanted instead of having to settle with whatever a gun store had in stock.

Hands down the best FFL dealer transfer service in St. Louis. John is the most knowledgeable and service oriented I have ever dealt with. Very well organized. Convenient quiet South county location. A friend to animals. Five stars which as you see I do not give lightly.

WOW, IT'S ME AGAIN. 1st off, I have used THREE gun stores to have my firearms delivered to. This was BY FAR the best experience that I have had with a transfer. I purchased a (Switch Gun 22) for a birthday present to myself. I reached out to John(the business owner) and had my gun shipped. I get a call from John to pick it up on September 22nd (1 day before my birthday), only to find out that I had been delayed, so I would not be able to leave with my new pistol?. This would usually take a few days to clear. I told John that I really wanted to have my gun on my day, but it's not that big of a deal. This man(John) went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to pick up my new beauty on September 23, and I am SOOO happy right now???

Awesome experience. John called me about 5 minutes after delivery and gave me a time to come pickup. Even better, the conversations and recommendations were awesome. I almost want to get another one today so i can go hang out for a bit next week! highly recommend!

Fast and excellent service. No nonsense. Make your purchase online, ship it to Sammy Dog's, and pick it up in a few days with no hastle. Saves countless time compared to navigating storefronts. Will use again in the future.

I do all of my firearms transfers through John at SammyDogs. John always treats me with respect and courtesy. He makes me feel like I am welcome as opposed to a nuisance as I felt at other FFL's before I met John. Another thing SammyDog's does very well is notify me as soon as my firearm arrives for transfer. I have never had a package arrive at SammyDog's when I haven't been called the same day the package arrives and often times the same hour it arrives. John is also very accommodating with his time and I have yet to suggest a time to meet (within normal business hours) that he has denied. John is very thorough and professional. He follows all ATF guidelines closely and explains them to you. He's also more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the transfer process or just to talk about the firearms hobby itself. Lastly, his prices are competitive and lower than most.I highly recommend Sammy Dogs for any firearm transfer!

Hands down, best gun transfer place in all of Missouri. If you want a professional and smooth transfer, Sammy Dogs is your place !! Best price in town as well. John is very professional and will get the job done as swiftly as possible. I’ve never had great service like I didn’t at Sammy Dogs while doing a transfer and I’ve had many gun transfers.
