Midtown300 was my first home when I came to the US and I was living with my friend. The management was so kind and helpful in adding me to be my friend's roommate. When time came for me to be on my own, finding an apartment within the building was not as smooth as I did not have a credit history to really speak of and also I did not cut the income requirement so I had to find a cosigner unbeknown to me was the credit score requirement even for the cosigner. I eventually found a friend who was willing to assist and I got my beautiful view studio apartment on the 10th floor.I totally enjoyed living at The Midtown300 mainly because of the management team and maintenance. Michelle and Toni were an absolute delight to work with whenever I had an issue. The maintenance team was always prompt to respond even on weekends. The team always communicates when there are service outages (usually boilers or chillers). Which is the downside of having central air and heat, because then everyone suffers when the system is down. The team's communication is excellent and they make living here a blessing. They always are smiling and wave at you when you lock eyes walking past the offices. They also gave me great feedback when I decided I was moving out.I moved out because I needed more space at an affordable price. You see the major downside with Midtown300 is storage, you do not really get that much storage and you will probably need wardrobes, chest drawers and extra storage cabinets/shelves.The amenities were always kept clean and safe for use, they added new games for the backyard park and some boardgames to borrow for when you have friends over. The gym was my favorite place!Parking is free to residents as long as you have a parking card which MUST be displayed on your windscreen else your car will be towed by a third party! Visitors MUST always park on the Visitor parking section else face the same music with the third party towing co. They recently installed lighting for the parking lot which it hopefully increases security. Car break-ins were becoming rampant.overall, the midtown300 is a perfect place to live in and the management is excellent. Oh yeah, they gave me my deposit back very fast! Thank you Toni and Michelle, keep up the great work you are doing.

Be aware of this apartment complex's predatory behavior. If you don't have a sticker on your car they WILL tow it in under 10minGranted I'm not a resident, I'm just someone who parked there by mistake instead of building 310. In less than the 10min it took for me to drop something off, they towed my car. Yet when I called to figure out if it was towed she said "It doesn’t matter if it was 10min, we've been having the same issue with the residents" meaning what? Residents are getting their cars towed for parking incorrectly? Or guests that park there to visit residents are getting their car towed? Or food delivery people are getting their cars towed? So resident or not, be aware.

I just moved in this month. I love this place it's good, peaceful and quiet place. It is also beautiful and clean. Very close to SLU so it's easier for me as a student. I'd recommend this place.Update after moving out ( had one year lease)Midtown300 was exceptional, have you ever stayed at a place where you have nothing to complain? Yes for me it's this place, firstly the management is out of this world ???Toni and Michelle are so amazing, the attend to residents with care, maintenance issues are fixed within minutes. For the 12 months I stayed there I never had any problem with any utility or trash. No noise from neighbours etc, l also got my full deposit back without hassle. I don't think I'll ever find a place with excellent management like this. Unfortunately I had to move out because I needed a bigger place from my studio. Rent and utilities are fixed in the rent too which was so convenient for me.I'd recommend midtown 300 to anyone especially students you'll never regret.

DO NOT STAY HERE. On 10/9/2022 my car was stolen from the parking lot. I called the police 8 times to report my car stolen before they eventually called me back. When I informed Toni Lazzaro (Apartment Manager) about my car being stolen she informed me that I’m one of many on the list whose car has been stolen, broken into, tires and rims stolen, or catalytic converter stolen. Even if you don’t own a Hyundai or Kia, your car WILL BE broken into. They have security at the front desk who’s either sleep, or on their phone majority of the time. Which means they’re not paying attention AT ALL to the parking lot cameras. The ICON parking garage isn’t any better. It’s supposed to be “secure” garage with a key entry. However the garage door is always broke which means IT IS LEFT OPEN FOR ANYBODY TO ENTER. I have seen trash and blankets in the garage so homeless people are living there. Not to mention THERE ARE NO SECURITY CAMERAS IN THE GARAGE.The only positive thing I can say is that maintenance is prompt with requests. Michelle was very nice during my tour, however she was extremely rude when I tried to get a new parking pass for my rental car BECAUSE MY CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THEIR LOT. She tried to charge me for another parking pass. It wasn’t until I reached out to Toni, who then reached out to corporate, that they waived the fee and was very apologetic. If you care about your safety and own a car, please DO NOT MOVE HERE. Try moving to Central West End if you want to be closer to downtown.**ATTACHED IS A PHOTO OF ONE OF THE CARS WHO’S TIRE/RIMS HAS BEEN STOLEN AND LEFT ON THE AXEL. THE OTHER PHOTO IS THE PARKING SPOT WHERE MY CAR WAS SORLEN.**

I have never written a review before, but if I were to share my experience at this place, I would strongly advise against staying here. I have been residing in this establishment since January 2022, and I can confidently say that it has been an absolute nightmare. In the span of my stay, I have received a staggering 46 emails regarding various issues such as smoking problems, trash concerns, water outages, and dysfunctional AC/heating systems. This sheer number of ongoing problems speaks volumes about the abysmal state of this building and the utter lack of competence displayed by the management team.Even on scorching hot days, when temperatures reach a sweltering 90 degrees, they would have the audacity to shut down the cooling systems for days, not just once, but repeatedly every two months. It's beyond comprehension! The building manager's response to this recurring issue was nothing short of absurd. In one of her emails, she had the audacity to suggest using a fan or a portable air conditioner as a solution. It's abundantly clear that they couldn't care less about the well-being of the residents; their sole focus seems to be squeezing every dime out of us.As if the exorbitant rent prices weren't enough, they shamelessly charged me an additional $80 for a TV service that I never even used. Can you believe it? On top of that, my rent skyrocketed from $775 to a whopping $1024, and mind you, the apartment I was provided with is smaller than most hotel rooms. To add insult to injury, they don't even offer access to printing services. And when I asked Michelle, a staff member, for a few copies, she flat out refused. I'm not talking about asking for 50 copies; it was just a simple request for multiple copies, and they couldn't even accommodate that.If you have the misfortune of working full-time, good luck trying to catch any member of the management team in the office. They claim to close at 5 pm, but I can't count the number of times I went down at 4 pm only to find an empty reception area. It's utterly frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, they outsource the parking garage to a third-party company, and that gate breaks down every other month. I once found myself unable to leave the premises because of the malfunctioning gate. I had to resort to taking an Uber to work, and there was absolutely no way to contact the management for assistance. The provided contact number merely leads to a voicemail box. It's truly disheartening to witness Toni and Michelle, who supposedly manage the property, handle issues with such incompetence. Coming from someone who works in the hotel industry, it's deeply saddening to see the absence of genuine hospitality and care for those who have entrusted them to provide a home.I understand that not all issues are within their control, but a little bit of empathy and consideration go a long way. Unfortunately, the staff here seem completely emotionless and are quick to belittle you. If you're in search of a place to call home, I implore you to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and disappointment by avoiding this place at all costs.

It’s a decent place to live. “Decent” meaning it’s affordable, leasing office staff are friendly and courteous, and you have guaranteed access to parking. The view, of course, is also pleasing. There are some grave inconveniences, such as quarter-only $1.75/load laundry machines (and no, there’s no on-site change machine either—get ready to visit the bank each week for quarters). It’s not uncommon for a few washing/drying machines to be out of service at a time. There’s also the issue of the heating system going in and out; during the cold winter months, I kept a space heater because I couldn’t rely on coming back to an apartment that wasn’t freezing cold. The water may go out and while the leasing office won’t send out a direct notification that this happened (and when it’s resolved), they will send building-wide reminders to pay rent and to use the trash chute correctly.Overall it is not a “bad” place to live. You meet nice people all around. You don’t pay a lot for utilities. Fairly “safe” part of town, for the most part, and the building is secure with its key-entry.I wouldn’t be too dazzled by the “Urban Luxury Living” label they place on their website; outside of the (2) granite countertops in their units, everything is small or cheaply made. By no means does this make the units bad by default, but I think some of the advertising can be misleading.

I have rented coast to coast. This place will rap you after your lease is up. They will charge you for everything and then some. Please do not rent here.

Scam’s people out of a extra month rent. Workers do nothing to help and blame everything on the customers.

Best safest near Saint Louis university. It has key card open option to enter the building and it has best view to the downtown

Awful management that is only out to squeeze you dry of every penny you have. They say one thing, do another, and scam you into owing money that shouldn't be owed, for a place that makes everything you own reek of cigarette smoke (even tho its suppose to be a smoke free apartment). Make it make sense. 0/10.

Horrible. Tells me that I have to be out for March 1st because I chose not to renew. Handed my keys in on Feb 27th and now they’re saying I owe March’s rent. Terrible

Beautiful property with very nice residents that live there.

They will make it look cheap at first, but as you go along with the process of application, they will charge you loads of FEEs until the cost reaches 3 times your monthly rent in just 1 sitting. Better find a rent-to-own house, at least it'll be a true investment.

I haven't moved in yet but so far my application and signing process has been amazing thanks to Toni! The office always responds to my questions quickly and no question is too little! I'm looking forward to living here!!
